Use a pull up cord to burn them off. Use your closing pin to get them off. Ask someone to pull them off for you. Hook knife...be careful.

Just get rid of the slider...it'll open fast for sure! Joking of course. Your extra weight may make it open quicker, when I wear weights with my main I get slammed.

Broken ankle on round reserve landing.

Student at a small DZ had an off DZ landing after a cutaway. Landed her round reserve and broke her ankle. It's a super small DZ and I don't think it's USPA so probably nothing else will be reported. Sunday night the 24th. -
Hey, a lil under 1.8. My canopy now is similar to a cobalt. (So, I've been told). I want a canopy similar to it. I don't know how the comp cobalt flies. The guy I'm buying it from is giving me 10 days to make sure I'll like it. Good weekend. I jumped with a news reporter and it was on the news at 6:30. Next door I guess had a girl land a round reserve and she broke her ankle.

So, I'm about to get a competition cobalt 95. Wondering if anyone that's jumped one can tell me what they think. Openings, flare. What other canopies it's similar to, stuff like that. Thanks.

Any DZ's use round reserves in there student gear or any other gear? If so, what are the reasons for not getting modern gear? I know of one DZ and have seen a two out situation landed a while back and then more recently the reserve landed where the student broke her ankle.

What do ya'll think a textbook type of canopy progression would look like? For example: Lazer Tri PD Esprit Sabre 2 XF 2 Katana FX VX Not really in that order, that's just an example. Doesn't have to go Icarus route either. Just curious as to what people think.
