Yeah, my Uncle sent it to me. Either way, it had to fucking hurt... I heard it's a skydiver that had a no pull and landed on this fence post and LIVED!

Possible: Good Camera flyer w/ out ringsite?

I was just thinking...is there such thing as a good camera flyer that DOES NOT have a ringsite? I mean, when you see all the "famous" camera flyers...they have huge ringsites. Is there any good ones that do not? Or to be good is a ringsite a must? -

So...here in Oregon it's been raining alot! Our field usually floods...but now our whole property has. Our garage to the South is covered with about 8 inches of water...our entire backyard is under water, along with driveway. Even my Dad's shop is under water. U can't get into my house without getting wet or walking on logs my Dad strategically placed to walk on. Crazy thing is...my Dad knew this would happen cuz the drains behind our house are plugged, he's called the city numerous times to get them out...then only this morning now that it's in my sisters bedroom, do they come out to fix it. Bastards.

First canopy that comes out, that does do that...I'll buy!

I only have put 4 jumps on the canopy so far, but I haven't noticed any weirdness with the openings either. Just seemed nice and on heading.

Hey, Just threw some jumps on a Katana 97 today. Loaded at 1.75. Pretty fun canopy. I was freezing cold so don't think I enjoyed it fully. But...great opening, fast toggle turns, super light riser pressure, good flare. I'll have it for a couple more weeks so I'm sure I'll learn more.

Totally the case for alot of places. Around here (the NW) most people will tell you Infinity's are the most comfortable and best. You go somewhere else and it's the same for Wings, Javelin, Mirage and so on. If you try something on and you like it...then get it. Don't always listen to crazy people on DZ.com, including myself. p.s. wings suck, don't get one! haha just kidding.

Totally personal opinion here, but... I've just never really heard good things about wings. They just seem to be a cheaper rig. Out of all the people I know that skydive...I only know 1 person that likes them. I've always heard alot of good things about Voodoo's...and I'm not just saying that because I own one. It was bought used at a good price. I'm not saying Voodoo's are all that, if I had the money I'd get a Mirage or Infinity. But, from what I've seen of my Voodoo...and a friends Wings, IMO Voodoo's are far superior. Also, I've been told that Wings are more for short and stout people (like said friend, hehe j/k). I've tried one on and it fit really weird. But I've seen they have a new container that is for "taller" jumpers.

Hey. My sis and I are going to Oahu for our 21st birthday. We'll be there March 28th thru April 5th. Maybe we'll seeya there!! Look for drunk twins. My 3rd time to Oahu...not sure where your going, but wherever it is, make sure and go scuba diving or snork. The fish and things you see underwater look like un-real. You'll love wherever you go and whatever you do...cuz Hawaii just is the best place ever!

I'm not totally positive. Almost though. When I was down there in November it was regular $15 for a lift ticket to ~13K. I was told if you got them in blocks they were $13 a piece and that you could get a block of 50. But maybe someone from Lodi can pipe in and say for sure....ED? Oh and $5 hop n pops which is even better!!

Hey Jeff I'll go down to Lodi with ya whenever you want. I think it's like $650 for a block of 50. We could make a weekend trip down every now and then and do some freeflyin there! Just split the block. I'm plannin on going down late January or early Feb.

I think someone smart could invent a climate control thingamajig. So where all the rain/snow/clouds/high wind would come at night. Then, during they day, it would always be blue sky 80-85 degrees with a couple big puffy clouds! Someday....
