*BUMP* Can you compare Atair Alpha and PD Stiletto a little? I see alot of people saying that stiletto's aren't a good way to go in a canopy progression...something along those lines. Would Alpha fall in that same category...or is it maybe a little different. I saw some people comparing it to Crossfires and Katana's...but for some reason I find that not so true....(I stand corrected!) Anyone?

Exactly...obviously your benighted brain can't comprehend what all that means. Basically, you ask a question, you get answers and continue to ask when it's been answered...if your illiterate...get your friend that owns the canopy and have him help you comprehend. I wasn't the only one that mentioned laziness, in fact wasn't even the first. Don't know what your beef is, but seriously, grow up.

Whoa there spunky...no need to get your panties in a bunch... To me, most people that let stuff like that happen to their gear is simply lazy. Or they don't know, but seriously, come on. I don't think this thread needed to be drawn out as much as it is. You asked a question...got answers and for whatever reason kept it going. When you ask a question and get clear answers...don't ask "why?" like a smart ass. As far as "shit talkers"...that's what dz.com is, haven't ya heard.

Does anyone have that they're gonna put up? Come on! ...as in flopstyle shtuff. -
Oh piss off!
-
Do you need one? To build and sale and jump a main?
-
Consider it done. Word on the street is that he'll be more into the PRO stuff and not so much the CPC stuff. I think.

If you were totally serious I would move there right meow!

I'm actually at Eugene Skydivers...another 2 hours south...but SDO is pretty kick ass. However, I don't think they're operating that much right now either.
-
What DZ's are those? Or where do you live...anywhere near Eugene, Oregon. Whenever we can get 3 jumpers we can fly cessna loads all day!
-
I know how you feel. BEAUTIFUL weather today and yesterday, but nobody wants to jump. I sit out at the DZ SO MUCH wanting to jump and usually there is nobody, weekends and that's it. Anywhere with nice or nicer weather than Oregon in need of a full time TI that has regular weekly fun jumpers? Also can pack/manifest and got my senior riggers ticket!

Looks scary, but structurally sound. I think that's all it is. We'll see.

OK...suppose someone sewed a line set and did a shitty job and now they want it re-done. Would taking all the old stitching out compromise the integrity of the line itself, or no? Or, should the old stitching just be left and gone over regardless of the way it would look. As in cosmetic not an issue.

Did I mention all retarded acts will be forgivin during this depressing time?
-
Probably considering it's Jan 23rd (some web-sites say 23rd, some 24th...so if today didn't suck for you, there's always tomorrow!)..."The most depressing day of the year" "Foul weather, debt, fading Christmas memories, failed resolutions and a lack of motivation conspire to depress" Minus the PT test I had to take this morning my day was pretty good with some AWESOME weather! SUN!

LSD and Green Tea!! Also, throw in no soda or deep fried foods. LSD...Long Slow Distances, as in jogging. Not so fast that your ready to blow a lung, but slow 3-5 mile jogs. Also, try not eating past 6pm.

Neptune... Gives tons of info...jump numbers, ff times for jumps, all jump summary, time, date, temp, plus it's user friendly.

The cement drain has collapsed under the railroad tracks...we probably could fix it...but we'd have to tear up the railraod by our house...which I'm sure would get us in alot of trouble, as trains go by regularly. If it were something we could have fixed, it would have already been fixed.
