    So I'm trying write a paper in regards to this: How was the societal division over the passage of the Equal Rights Amendment similar to the split in opinion regarding the Supreme Court case Roe v. Wade? How did the rhetoric that was used in arguments supporting and opposing the ERA mirror that which surrounded Roe v. Wade? Were there differences in the way society was split over these two significant issues? Anyone got any strong opinions to get me started writing? I've been sitting in my room all day and have accomplished nothing.

    Just curious... Who all actually hooks their students legs and arms thru the skydive? Who does nothing but out-fly the student yourself? Who hooks students when it's an extreme body position but leaves them alone if not? I've seen people hook their students and it not work so well...just curious what the general theory is.

    I'm 20. I'd like to thank the National Guard, ROTC, my riggers ticket and tandem rating. Also, my parents for still allowing me to live in their very nice home. Which is 5 min. from the DZ! And my grandparents...for that large sum of money to get me started with school...that I spent on skydiving. It WAS an investment in my future. I wouldn't say I live my life too cheaply either. Go out quite a bit, make trips, new gear. Just lucky I guess...livin the dream. However, I don't have any tunnel time, yet.

    LOL. No, I backed out when I realized that whole post was turning into another bitch tournament and I had a mid-term to study for and a volleyball game to go to. Thanks though. Yeahhhhh Christmas! Wait, I think I've been naughty.

    Calm down there Spunky. I don't know details of the jump. Experience, etc... For all I know that student is an experienced jumper. Like I said...what gets you all pumped up about being dangerous, is no big deal to someone else, for example... those jumpers in the pic. Opinions opinions opinions, can't argue over them.

    And that's YOUR opinion. I'm not going to sit here and argue OPINIONS. It could go on for days and nobody would win. All skydivers have a different view of what is safe and what is dangerous and that is a FACT.

    Let's remember this was in MEXICO...where I'm sure rules are different.

    According to manufacturer...bad idea. According to the Student/FFers/TI/Vidiot...it's all personal, EVERYONE feels different about situations like these. What I think is safe would be not safe to someone else and totally safe to another person. Would I ever do that? Never say Never. Have I ever done that? No. But, it is a cool picture...safe overall? probably not... Worth the risk?...to each his own... SKYDIVING isn't safe, but we still do it.

    And that they are...I know if I were a new student, having all those people around me would be bad ass and I would probably be much more likely to want to do it again. ...Leaving out the mention of added dangers. Which...a student probably wouldn't even be able to comprehend. They know they could die...what's much worse than that?
