Went through AFF three years ago. Wasn't even really that interested, but the guys in the club ( College Park Skydiving Crew ) seemed cool so I went to a meeting. Well, that meeting was the first half of the AFF first jump course put on by two guest intstructors [thanks Mike D. and Rob J.] So I payed my fifty bucks - obviously a deposit only - and tried it out. Turned 19 on Firday, next day did AFF 1. howdy I'm from UMCP and went down to the Collegiate Boogie that UF / Skydive Williston put on last summer. Looks to me like you're aiming WAY high, but hey, it's Deland so why not try. OK, here's one thing a bunch of people are missing. Law Enforcement is no different than you or me. They have a different job. That's great. I'm actually considering the same career. So what exactly gives them this Jedi-like mastery of guns that none of us can have? OK, so there are FAMs. So why not enlist the help of hundreds or thousands or more of volunteers.
