JT if it is The Boulder DZ what is their Altitude? If they are the same as you then if they say 2 miles and go to 6k then they are pretty close to 2 Miles MSL.. Tricky and slick but if pressed they can prove they are taking them to 2miles above the sea. Now if their advertising SAYS 2 miles agl then yes they are lying but if they convienantly left that out they are not techincally lying... Not agreeing with them by any means. You know I love Brad and Mesquite and wish everyone would come out and jump there so you could have a turbine running 7 days a week. Maybe Brad needs to get really agressive in his Vegas Marketing. It takes almost as long to drive to BC as it does to Mesquite so if he cna get creative maybe he can pull more people away from them.. Yes Despite popular belief catfish bite all day long. It is just nicer to bait and wait at night with a nice fire and a few cold ones (O'Douls for me). Each of those scenario's 1) Should not have Happened 2) If you find they did happen you should go to your Reserve 3) You want your reserve to fire because if you have a main like mine that can take over 800' to open and just might decide to snivel longer, 1200' might not be enough to save my life. 4)3-4 seconds will put you out of luck for your reserve to inflate before your a meat waffle if your main malfuntions. I am sure you won't make enough of them for the initail order. That BSBD Shirt kicks (_*_) over anything I have seen in my short time in the sport. Already been Said but Blind Fold Packing Contests have been around for a long time or at least thats my understanding. You must close the Pack Job and retrieve a beer from the BOC and Down it before you stow the Pilot Chute (or after you stow it) winner is the first one done. As for any other rules well you can add all you want but with a DZ full of people watching you can't really "Cheat" but not flaking the cells and lines etc... The last one I watched the winner was done in less then 10 minutes. One person would have been even faster but broke the closing loop and by the time someone handed him a new one he was about 15 seconds behind the winner. I think he would have been done in less then 5 minutes. Oh and I think all 5 guys jump the pack jobs cuz they was jumping the next morning and they sure wasn't in any condition to be re-packing the rigs that night or in the morning MAKE EVERY DAY COUNT Life is Short and we never know how long we are going to have. I had that happen to me when I had my Rig Converted from Velcro to Tuck Tabs. Risers would not come out and my chin pinned to my Chest. I had a square canopy that was flying straight and I could turn and kinda flair so I landed it. I couldn't see what was hung up and couldn't clear it and decide NOT to cutaway as I couldn't be sure it would clear. Figure out pretty fast what happened and now my tabs have in big BOLD letters RISERS ON TOP! Glad it worked it for ya. I know when it happend to me it freaked me out....
