You need to check the insurance as it might not even matter. My insurance doesn't cover extreme sports and specifically excludes skydiving injuries. First off, if it looks like something is going south, I turn around and walk the other way. I have watched 6 people DIE in front of me over the years as they bounced. I'm 250 so gear isn't a problem if you can get down to that weight. I was 230 when I started jumping. I have met lots of jumpers that are pushing 260+.
