    You know I kinda missed that post and I agree too. It is nice sometimes to get away when none of my family wants to go with me. Truth be told most of the time they do not want to go but if I really want them there they go gladly and cheer me on all day. Either way I have a great time. And it would kinda suck if I was having to come up with the money for two people to jump right now.

    Yep a very positive realtionship. IT just boils down to how much are you WILLING to love each other. It is a choice that you both make and WE chose to not let it get in the way.

    I have not really been following this thread and I know I know very little about this sport as of yet, but, are there really that many accidents out there that involve skydivers hurting spectators or damaging spectator property? And what about having spectator's sign waiver's if they want to hang around the DZ. They do not HAVE to be there. And the skyjock pilot should also have to carry his share of the burden knowing that HE is refeuling where 180 lb objects are constantly falling from the sky. I guess I know so little about any of this and have never heard of a skydiver smacking into say a mom getting out of her car as she goes to the store or a person driving by the DZ getting a windshield full of canopy and crashing into a telephone poll. Is this really so common that the insurance is THAT high? And I also thought that the USPA served more than just as an insurance carrier but as a governing body to help keep the government out of our sport. Am I wrong about this too?

    I skydive, my wife has no interest. I can get her to go to the DZ sometimes but most of the time she just does not want to. I bought her some nice camera equipment for Christmas and now she think she will go and take pictures of the swoopers. Either way, I go to the DZ and she understands that it is a deep seeded need within my soul so she gives me no hard times about it. A jumper/whuffo relationship can work but you both have to respect each others position.

    I have 33 jumps since Oct 5 when I did my levels 1, 2, and 3 AFF. If I prorate like NZL60 then I would have had 138.7 jumps.

    Well it is well known that ADD is one of the most overdiagnosed afflictions out there. I myself was diagnosed with it (college experiment) and found that funny. I am an honors engineering student and I take no meds. I think that maybe there are true cases of ADD but I think more than half of the diagnosed cases are just regular old laziness are unwillingness to focus. Personally I think it is crap and told the people performing that test that. But everyone seems to need an excuse for things that do not work out for them. Just another case of people not taking repsonsibility for their own actions. But hey that is my opinion, I could be wrong. nah . . .

    I say arm everybody. Stewardesses, Pilots, Passengers, pet's in hold. I know I would not think about hijacking a plane if I knew everyone might be armed.

    Hmmm . . . let's see go out and hang with a bunch of drunk people while I stay sober . . . Stay up till 3 in the morning or later . . . and then drive home with the same drunk people driving all over the road. For what? Just so I can watch the clock turn to 12:00 (or 0:00 for us military guys). Never could understand the point of New Year's. . I will stay home like I do every year and probably be fast asleep before the clock stikes 0. Everyone be safe tonight. Enjoy your night but please be safe. I would like you to all still be here tomorrow. (That's here as in on the planet NOT here as in on the forums or here in my computer chair. I do not think it could handle all the weight)

    Plummet you are living the dream. I hope everyone of my kids take up skydiving. IF they do I will pay for it. I want to eventually do a family four way. How cool would that be! OF course they say they want to now but when the time comes we will see. Now if I could only get my wife to join us! But noooooooooooo she will not even consider it. Maybe I can get her to get her pilot's lisence! What a great idea! . . . >thinking

    Hmm I am not cool so neither of these apply to me. I am a dork. Love being a dork. It is great fun to be a dork. I skydive because I am a dork and I am a dork because I skydive. It is cyclical like that. I'll bet the coolness/skydiving thing is the same though. The circle of coolness. Yep. cannot do one without the other. Oh and actually I skydive because I skydive . . . yeah try and work that one out
