I agree here. We cannot possibly think of everything as human beings and engineers. As engineers we always want to try and cover every possible thing that could happen. Sometimes a problem is not even discovered or thought of until a tragedy brings it to light. IF the vehicle was designed to meet the standards fo the day it was manufactured then I think there should be no suit. The designers and engineers probably covered ever angle they knew of at the time. Lawsuits should be reserved for cases of gross human neglegence. If I KNEW there was a safety issue and I deliberately ignored it or thought it was more expensive to fix it than pay out the few lawsuits I thought woudl come my way then I am liable and should be sued. But if I did everything required of me and everything I believed to be humanly possible to make a safe vehicle than I should not be held responsible. At some point we gotta accept responsibility for the risks we take. We are talking about imperfect machines built and designed by imperfect people. You do not HAVE to fly. You do NOT have to drive. You do NOT HAVE to ride a motorcycle. You CAN die doing any of these things. I have a dream. That one day man will accept responsibility for himself and not look to blame everything that goes wrong in his life on some other unsuspecting schmuck just because we have greasy lawyers looking to make a buck.

Well I hate to state the obvious but niether of them actually look like Kramer but since this is about which one looks MOST like Kramer well . . . Last I checked Kramer's hair was wrecked and dark. Without question jmpnkramer would have to be the winner here.

I say make it mandatory that every citizen upon reaching 18 take a firearm safety course and a tactical weapons use course and be required to carry a firearm, nonconcealed. Then if a person committs and is convicted of a VIOLENT felony or misdemeanor (sp? - too lazy to look it up today) must wear a tattoo on their forehead. Those people shall not be allowed to carry a firearm at all. Now if every lawabiding citizen is carrying a firearm and has the training to use them and every VIOLENT criminal has an identifying mark. I think VIOLENT criminals will think twice about starting anything.

After reading all the post I tend to agree with you. We seem to have so little information to go on that an intelligent argument based on fact cannot seem to be made either way. And I am still appaulled by the rediculous damages awarded. -
okay so I will jump in here. And since I am posting pictures of my childhood I thought what the hell I will post how I changed too. In the first two I am the one holding the album and the one sitting on the right In the second two I am the one in glasses. Please be gentle!

I have never heard of this happening. It shed's a different light on this lawsuit. It would be interesting to know if this was the case. -

Yeah no kidding. I was thinking that there was no way the plaintiff allowed skydivers on the jury. -
I think that is only fair. Wait what if I bring two suits and two rigs? Then it is like I am going as two different people right?

unless you make less than 4 dollars an hour then yes it is worth it for 80 hours of work. Especially if you were counting on it. Every penny you earned is worth having.

Hey Duck! It looks like my first attempt too. My second did not go much better. Hell it went worse I corked and then pulled 2500 feet higher than planned. Got a good butt chewing for that one. Lost alt awareness and everything. I have not tried it since but plan too. Let me know how you keep doing.

My talent, I can click my jaw to make music. I can also write upside down, I can write backwards and I can write upsidedown and backwards at the same time. Plus I can draw a perfect circle without a compass or any other instrument other than a pen/marker/ pencil.

They should hit her with CS and throw the winning lottery ticket on the floor in front of her with ten others. If she can correctly identify it then . . . smack her in the head for being stupid enough to loose it
