We were offended by nudity on TV because it is, oh I must say it again, PERSONAL. We are not offended by nudity itself. Look at it this way, you walk past my house naked I will be offended. I do not think you are getting it. I do NOT THINK nudity is offensive or shocking, I think it is PERSONAL. And I should have the choice to see it or not. I have no problem with what she did, I have a problem that there was no warning. What you see as a stigma I see as modesty. So that you can understand I will spell it out again. P-E-R-S-O-N-A-L. This is directed to anyone who has a problem with my post. It's funny, I knew that I would get a bunch of crap from people. I think nudity is a personal thing. I have no problem with nudity. I like seeing my wife nude. Gets me hot. I however, do not want to see your wife nude, not matter how hot she is because she is not my wife. I do not want my son to objectify women. I do not want my daughters to be objectified. My wife does not either. My 16 year is very proud of the fact that she is holding out for her husband. I am proud of that. We should have a choice if we want to see someone elses nudity or not. In this case we had no choice because we did not know it was coming. You want to flaunt your nudity, then do so. But let me know where you are so I am not subjected to it. You think you have a right to subject my kids to it, just because you think it is okay? WRONG ANSWER! I decide what is right for MY home and I do not give a flee flying fuck if you think it is archaic, puritanical or whatever other slew of vomit you want to spew. My life, my family, my choice. All I am saying is that we should have had the opportunity to change the channel. You know, Parental Guidance warnings. Heard of em? And yes my wife and daughters were shocked because they did not expect it and it offended them. Guess that makes me unpopular. Guess what, we do not care. You can think your way and I have no problem with that, but to blast us for having a view of nudity being personal is bullshit. And FYI, we do not treat nudity as something evil. We treat it as something personal. Big Difference. Furthermore, we do not watch MTV for this reason or a whole slew of other shows/movies/channels. Actually yes this is true and we fly an Ahmish skydiving flag when he is there. WE call him Blink. The Ahmish allow there children to leave for a while and come back, to see what is out there and usually they do. They like their life better. But Blink went skydiving while he was out there (as I understand it) and he never left the dropzone. SO now many years later, he is the only Ahmish skydiver. Very true. I probably have some of the details skewed but this was how I heard it and I asked him if he was really ahmish and yep, he is. Pertty funny if you ask me.

AerOhio has the world's only Ahmish Skydiver, as far I know anyway, that may have changed recently, but I do not think so. You like my disclaimer?

Ah but see, I am was an enlisted Marine, for us, nothing is impossible! Lets see. Deland to Titusville. Then turn south west and hit Lake wales, then West and slightly south Z-hills, then probably need 34,000 to get to Skydive Miami, but let me think, I know there is a coulple of DZ between Z-hills and Miami. Need to look at the DZ list to see what they are. From Miami I can track almost straight south and get to Sky Dive Key West. Then I can sit with jimmy and waste away in margaritaville! This is doable. But I would have to take off from Deland no later then sun-up to make key west by sundown. Speaking of sundown . . . Sundown you better take care if I find you been sneaking round my backstairs. . .

I am by no stretch of the imagination the ideal Christian, but I know this much, that I am a sinner and that Jesus saved me from the consequences of my sins. And I must say that every time I jump, I feel like it is one of the gifts that God has blessed me with. A fufillment of a dream that is really a selfish one because it serves no purpose other than to fill me with joy. But I thank God for this gift of flight. And the first time I jumped solo, when I looked around at the view I was blown away at how big the world looked from there and it drove a great thought home. That as big as this earth is, God loves me as small as I am. Face it if I hit the earth, I do not think the earth would notice but I certainly would. Yeah, I think skydiving is a spiritual experience that can bring us closer to God (and I do not mean by being higher in the sky).

HOLLYWOOOOOOOOOOD! Waz up girl?! FYI: I rarely miss Church on Sunday. Go to the 9:00 Service and love every minute of it. Then I sit in the coffee shop afterwards and fellowship with my church friends. So there, now you know you know at least one skydiver that goes to church on Sunday.
