Man I gave up showboarding when I shattered my wrist and coxic (sp?) bone. Heal quickly and get back in the sky where it is safer.

Get yourself the Bike Builders Handbook that EasyRiders comes out with every year. How I started was by buying onesy towsy parts as I could afford them and once I had a bike worth rebuilding I started fitting the parts on. You can get rolling chassis and then buy your custom bars, seat etc. that you want. Then save up for the engine and trany. Takes a while adn you end up with a butload of parts sitting around for a while but if you start with the chassi you can add stuff. Then just drop in the motor, get it running and Woohoo! Of course you need a storage unit since you are in College. I assume dorms? If not then you prolly got plenty of room in the living room. That is where I work on mine. Wife hates it.

AggieDave, you are a man after my own heart. I am currently chopping my Sportser. Raking it out 7 degrees. Ditching the 19in front for a 21 and dropping the rear to a sixteen. Tank is going to a sportBob with dash system. I am getting wicked custom pipes that twist around each other made. They are busting the bank account. (Of course so is the loan I took out on the bike to buy my rig.) Can't wait to finish her up. When she's done I'll post some before and after pics.

I am into any and all bikes. I am mainly a Harley Guy. Come froma long family line of American Iron riders. That said, I believe that if it has a motor, two wheels and is classified as a motorcycle, then it is mighty fine in my book. In fact this traditional Harley Guy likes Hondas and BMWs. Owned a Honda or two in my day. In fact the next bike I buy will be this one

Going to FLorida in March . . . which DZ?

Well damn, now what do I do? Guess all you who voted can bite me! Looks like Sebastian is where I am going. -
I have had my nipples and tongue pierced but got rid of them about four years ago. I have had tattoos since 1989. I have five and plan on many more. Maybe. Because I cannot justify spending good jump money on tattoos right now. My most recent is my custom dragon that goes from my neck to my wrist. I got the whole thing done at one time. Took 14.5 hours of solid tattooing. Really great experience if you enjoy extreme pain.

Someone who was there and took the picture sold it to them for the cover? They found it in a pile of trash while walking to the DZ? -
Going to FLorida in March . . . which DZ?
sdgregory replied to sdgregory's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
Okay so that the other DZ's do not feel cheated. There are what, 15 dz's in Florida just listed here on DZ.com and who knows how many others not listed? My brother and sister live 45 minutes from Lake Wales which is also less then a half hour away from my Hotel. My Aunt and Uncle live 25 minutes from Deland. Z-hills is not that much further away from where I will be staying, maybe 30 minutes further. Those are the reasons I picked the ones I did. I would love very much to visit every DZ in Fl but I had to limit the choices to the most logical ones for me. It was certainly not meant as a snub to any other DZ's. Someday I will make it to thsoe dz's too. -
I am from Mars and I come out at night And you try to run but I got a gun And I shoots you dead and I eat your head And then you're in the man from Mars You go out at night, eatin' cars You eat Cadillacs, Lincolns too Mercurys and Subarus And you don't stop, you keep on eatin' cars Then, when there's no more cars You go out at night and eat up bars where the people meet . . . Yep I am from Mars. This is one helluva single you earthlings send.

Not sure about Aerohio but I know Cleveland Sport Parachute Center has a Deaf Amish Skydiver as well as the blind skydiver FS world record. Well, maybe there is more than one Ahmish Skydiver then! That was why I put the disclaimer. He is the only one I ever heard of, now I heard of two. Kewl.

I was thinking the same thing. And they certainly would not have liked the fake mullet in Marine Utilities. Oh well, the video was fun to watch and hey these guys deserve the fun.
