    19 days....

Never, ever fool yourself and think that you can ever again smoke just one more. Do, and you're a smoker all over again. Good luck! 359 "Now I've settled down, in a quiet little town, and forgot about everything"
  2. In most parts of the world, it's "Yin-Yang" 359 "Now I've settled down, in a quiet little town, and forgot about everything"
  3. It's not exactly 'joyful' duty. He'll get around to it sometime soon. Focus on staying off the list. 359 "Now I've settled down, in a quiet little town, and forgot about everything"
  4. It's going pretty well so far, but I'll wait until we have a mishap-free week before giving Vincent his diploma. 359 "Now I've settled down, in a quiet little town, and forgot about everything"
  5. I've always known Maggot was an icon but now he has become a cult. I'm just happy I got see him flick with the forever banned nicknitro71 last night. And if you guys think Maggot is radical get a hold of this: Maggot, Nick and a third inexperienced jumper did a three way from 5K. Maggot jumping a RDS xaos 27 78, Nick his modified Alpha 99. Well they let the third jumper off at 3K. Then Nick grabbed Maggot and did not let him go until they passed 1.5K. Maggot pulled at approximately that altitude before he was able to get his hand out the pulled sweater sleeve and Nick burnt it to 800 before going for the main. The DZO wasn’t happy, Maggot, the devil himself wasn’t happy either. Nick had a 15 sec canopy ride and a decent swoop. Then they went for a sunset load at our local A where Maggot almost died one more time. Bottom line NickD is that with all your mumbling around there are sons of the nineties out there who instead of sitting on their asses they are pushing the line because that is the only way they know. If one day one of them goes in (very probable) you’ll be the first one pointing finger going “what a moron” or along those lines. It seems to me you are just a fading flame because you never burst hard enough to extinguish yourself when it was the right time to go Weak retort. 359 "Now I've settled down, in a quiet little town, and forgot about everything"
  6. Yeah, it was pretty funny. 359 "Now I've settled down, in a quiet little town, and forgot about everything"
  7. I don't believe it's possible...yet. Unfortunately, USPA isn't getting any more money out of me until an online version of the rag is available...at a discount, of course. 359 "Now I've settled down, in a quiet little town, and forgot about everything"
  8. I've heard of DZ's in Florida that use a modified tandem rig for students that are physically fit, but over 'average' weights. Maybe do a bit of research and find such a place. 359 "Now I've settled down, in a quiet little town, and forgot about everything"

Let me guess...That is NOT a Muslim family... "Now I've settled down, in a quiet little town, and forgot about everything"
  10. I'm fed up dealing with the cat litter box in my 40 foot converted bus. (My cat is indoor only.) I looked online for a toilet training method, and finally settled on the "Kitty Whiz Transfer System" I'm planning to start today, and have been telling Vincent that he is getting rid of his box. I'm not too sure he understands, but I'm ready to get started. Anyone with experience toilet training cats? Good? Bad? Ugly? 359 "Now I've settled down, in a quiet little town, and forgot about everything"
  11. It's all downhill from here. 359 "Now I've settled down, in a quiet little town, and forgot about everything"

    John Agnos

Not to mention when he fell trying to climb a site near Colorado Springs that had been secretly jumped before . . . not gonna name it but it will pop up if you do a search. That was lucky for him. If he had made that jump, he'd be dead for sure. 359 "Now I've settled down, in a quiet little town, and forgot about everything"
  13. I've had my dry spells before, but lately I couldn't get laid in a women's prison, with a bottle of Jack and a handful of roofies. Hopefully that'll change before it has a lasting physical effect on me. 359 "Now I've settled down, in a quiet little town, and forgot about everything"
  14. Living at 7000' in a very dry climate, I find half a gallon of water per day is a minimum for me...Seems to keep me on a more even keel in many ways. 359 "Now I've settled down, in a quiet little town, and forgot about everything"
  15. I don't have a ticket yet, but plan on being at the 1:15pm show in Colorado Springs, 35 miles west of my place. 359 "Now I've settled down, in a quiet little town, and forgot about everything"
  16. $2.759 for 85 octane on the high plains of Colorado this afternoon. 359 "Now I've settled down, in a quiet little town, and forgot about everything"
  17. What happens when you: 1) have nothing to do? 2) own a sharp knife? 3) have a large lime? 4) own a patient cat? 5) drink too much tequila? 6) and it's football season? See pic... "Now I've settled down, in a quiet little town, and forgot about everything"
  18. And a flawless delivery by Jackie Gleason. I doubt anyone will ever have the guts to attempt to top him in the role. 359 "Now I've settled down, in a quiet little town, and forgot about everything"
  19. Oops...Bobby Boucher is on his way over to see you...and he has some 'tackling fuel' Keep singin' 359 "Now I've settled down, in a quiet little town, and forgot about everything"
  20. After trying all of the scrambled egg recipes suggested here last week, I have to report that 1 tablespoon of water per egg, and some salt, yield the perfect scrambled egg. Milk was OK, but didn't seem to work as well as water. Thanks! 359 "Now I've settled down, in a quiet little town, and forgot about everything"
  21. It must seem borderline ridiculous to those outside the Southern US, muchless in other countries. But, growing up in the deeeeeeeep South in the 50s and 60s, I can tell you without a doubt, that lawmen like Sheriff Justice did indeed exist. 359 "Now I've settled down, in a quiet little town, and forgot about everything"
  22. I wonder which 'small door' Beech 18 you are referring to? Most jumpers would call a D model a small door, but at least it had a flat bottom. The C models I have many jumps from had a curved top and bottom, and was quite a challenge to float front or rear from. The center was the only 'easy' floater exit position. My position from any model 18 was front floater. I grew the fingernails on my left hand slightly longer than the right, just so I could hook the window frame on climbout. 359 "Now I've settled down, in a quiet little town, and forgot about everything"
  23. That may be a throwback from the US Air Force/AF Academy. The flying cadets there, as well as all AF junior officers are known as "Zoomies". If you've ever shared airspace with them, you'd know why. 359 "Now I've settled down, in a quiet little town, and forgot about everything"
  24. ACME Skydiving School. And a photo of you on your business cards, morphing into Wiley Coyote should create a buzz, and make you memorable. 359 "Now I've settled down, in a quiet little town, and forgot about everything"
  25. Yeah, it was known as "The Hank Anchor". I still have a couple of them around here someplace. 359 "Now I've settled down, in a quiet little town, and forgot about everything"
