I am of the belief that if a substantial amendment to the 2nd were put to a popular vote, it would pass. I believe that the majority of the American people want things changed. The problem is the US House; those Reps know that they keep their seats because, somewhat, of their support of gun rights. Hi Keith, First, I applaud your continuing concern & input about the problem. IMO you are way ahead of most of the posters on here; including me. Re: all guns must be registered and accounted for cradle to grave I would add; if you had a gun that was registered & accounted for and I got my hands on it and committed a crime, you would suffer some responsibility for the crime. Hi Tim, Re: Having it read "honorably discharged" on my DD214 OK, that got me to looking. I am 82 yrs old so things could easily have changed since I got out. My DD214, in box 13a CHARACTER OF SERVICE says HONORABLE. My 214 was issued to me upon completion of active duty, not upon Discharge, which occurred 2+ yrs later. Where does yours 214 say "honorably discharged"? This nothing more than curiosity on my part. Jerry Baumchen
