  1. Hi Brent, I feel that they are as good as anything that I might have claimed about them. For the majority of the driving that we do, they are very good. The problem IMO with the 'mass adaptation overnight' is that some folks do not understand them and the infrastructure ( more charging stations & fast charging stations ) is just not there yet. It took a lot of time for the gas-powered auto to become what it is today. I think electrics will get there faster. Jerry Baumchen
  2. Hi John, And on the other hand: '1 In 5 Adults In England Think The Coronavirus Is A Hoax' And: "A disconcertingly high number of adults in England do not agree with the scientific and governmental consensus on the coronavirus pandemic," https://www.npr.org/sections/coronavirus-live-updates/2020/05/22/860947708/1-in-5-in-england-think-the-coronavirus-is-a-hoax Jerry Baumchen PS) In '61-'62 I was stationed in England. At that time, I thought they were nuts for having funerals for their pets.

Hi Phil, THAT is the very essence of Donald Trump. Jerry Baumchen
  4. Hi folks, I see where Darrell Issa is still being stupid. Re: ' Darrell Issa and a conservative group are suing to block California’s move to an all-mail November election.' https://www.politico.com/states/california/story/2020/05/21/issa-sues-california-over-november-mail-ballot-election-1285467 Maybe the R's are running scared this time around. 5. Hi Phil, Could it possibly be dementia? Inquiring minds want to know. Jerry Baumchen
  6. Hi Joe, Since I live here, I'm possibly a little closer to this one. IMO her real problem is her big mouth. If she had just opened & kept it low key, she would not have been on the news. But, no; she had to go on & on about how no one could tell her what to do. The latest news that I saw said that, in addition to the $14,000 fine, the authorities were going to take away her business license. Yup: 'Actions have consequences.' Jerry Baumchen

Hi John, Just another loony-tune. Like most states, we've had them for a long time. She does not stand a snowball's chance in Hades of getting elected. Her opponent will be the current US Senator: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jeff_Merkley Jerry Baumchen PS) I am thinking that no one else wanted to really stand for the nomination. Merkley is VERY popular in this state.
  8. Hi Bent, And those are plusses for the Corolla. Around here, I can re-charge that Leaf for free, at many locations. IMO that is a big plus. Jerry Baumchen
  9. Hi Brent, Re: ‘Tesla subsidies benefit only those who can afford to drop $40-$100K on a car.’ Your are not staying on subject. Jerry Baumchen
  10. Hi Phil, He is probably trying to get ahead of Nixon. You know; the old 'I'm better than . . . ' Jerry Baumchen
  11. Hi folks, As I have posted previously, I think the mail-in voting only, as we have it here in Oregon, is the best way to vote. Yesterday was our Primary &, at least so far, everything has, once again, gone very smoothly. We've had 'mail-in only' for over 20 yrs & I never hear anyone complain about it. However, Our National Idiot seems to not agree: 'Trump Repeats Unfounded Claims About Mail-In Voting, Threatens Funding To 2 States' https://www.npr.org/2020/05/20/859333693/trump-repeats-unfounded-claims-about-mail-in-voting-threatens-funding-to-some-st I think this dufus is getting dumber by the day. Jerry Baumchen PS) Edit to change 'paper' to 'mail-in'; sorry for any confusion.
  12. Hi Brent, Then you really should also include 'used' Teslas; I found these just now" Used 2014 Tesla Model S - $36,995 Used 2012 Tesla Model S - $33,995 Used 2013 Tesla Model S - $31,000 Jerry Baumchen
  13. Hi Phil, It sure looks like Trump is a cheap date. Jerry Baumchen
  14. Hi Coreece, Brush up on your reading, Wendy nominated him, not me. Jerry Baumchen
  15. Hi Coreece, If your argument is that Biden has not help blacks, then why do so many of them support him & not Trump? Jerry Baumchen PS) Ever think about taking off your Trump-colored glasses?
  16. Hi Coreece, He damn sure will get them closer than Trump ever will. Closer is better than farther away. Jerry Baumchen PS) Personally, I've never seen any 'promised land.'
  17. Hi Phil, Only if the legislative branch lets him. As they have shown to do so far. Jerry Baumchen
  18. Hi Wendy, According to what he said back then, Ford pardoned Nixon because he was concerned that Nixon would commit suicide. Nixon went into a very deep depression after resigning. I tend to believe Ford, a most honorable man IMO. Jerry Baumchen PS) Although, in his first speech to both the House & the Senate as POTUS, he said, 'Our national nightmare is over.'
  19. Hi Sky, One thing is that when the parents of Johnnie, who cannot read, would not allow the school system to fail him & to retake the 2nd grade. They moved him along; and the result is that he is not capable of critical thinking. Just a thought, Jerry Baumchen
  20. Hi Wendy, I does seem as though Our National Idiot has a lot of those 'moments.' Jerry Baumchen
  21. Hi Robert, RATZ - once again, you beat me to it. Jerry Baumchen PS) And, let us not forget how Trump criticized mail-in voting and then admitted to doing it himself. Can you be more 2-faced?
  22. Hi Jakee, People like Rand Paul are scary. Jerry Baumchen PS) Must be something in the water in Kentucky.
  23. Hi Nigel, Trump is way ahead; not even a contest. Jerry Baumchen
  24. Hi Bill, About as well as everything about the Trump admin. Jerry Baumchen
