This morning, nearly three dozen former employees, including some who had helped write the original guidelines on what can and cannot be posted, published an open letter accusing Mr Zuckerberg of a "betrayal" of Facebook's ideals.     Hi Seth, Hey, don't put me there just yet; OK? I'm trying to keep the Reaper at bay. I think it was '67 when PCA OK'd 1800 openings for D-license holders. While we normally went to 3500 for 10+ sec delays, if the weather was bad & we could only get 1800 ft, up we went. Jerry Baumchen

    Hi jakee, I have no idea on what turtle's point is, nor do I care. My point is that no white American can understand what it means to be a black person in this country. When anyone says, ' I understand . . . ' ( and that includes Joe Biden ), they are wrong. They/I cannot understand it. No matter how hard we try, no matter how much money we spend, there is true & deep racism in this country. And, I have no real idea on how to correct it. I wish that I did. It has taken me a long time & numerous riots, but I now believe that I am closer to understanding why the black community(s) in this country do what they are doing now. IMO the racial problem is compounded by two things: - The election of a black POTUS - this brought them out of the woodwork - A POTUS who says, 'There were good people on both sides.' - this REALLY brought them out of the woodwork Jerry Baumchen

    Hi Will, When everyone was thrashing their hands after Trump won the election, and how bad things would get, I posted that the worst crisis in this country was the Civil War and we got past that. If Trump where to try something like you post, I then would consider that to be the greatest constitutional crisis this country has ever faced. It would truly be a test of the will of the American people. Remember, Trump's support is dropping daily; even from those who voted for him in 2016. Yes, I do know that his hard-core supporters are with him & will be with him until the bitter end, but IMO the overall American people are not. Jerry Baumchen

    Hi Will, I have had other people tell me the same thing. From what I have read, on 20 Jan 21 Trump, if he loses in Nov, will no longer be POTUS. At that point in time, he will have no authority over anything or anyone. During the Watergate crisis, Nixon actually considered surrounding the White House with US Marshals. Fortunately, people close to him talked him out of that crazy idea. With Trump, well he IS crazy. Jerry Baumchen PS) I was watching Shields & Brooks on NPR last nite. David Brooks said that Trump is the first POTUS since they have been measuring who has never had a positive rating by the American people during his entire time in office.

Such as in Texas: 'He also said that his office would prosecute people for voter fraud if they use a mail-in ballot in a matter he said is improper.'
