Another Trump Scam - Did Not Work So Good
JerryBaumchen replied to JerryBaumchen's topic in Speakers Corner
Hi folks, While not a direct Trump scam, it is close: Mike Lindell Says He Lost $7M in Failed Mask Venture Touted by Trump: 'Can't Give Them Away' (msn.com) Oh, too bad. Jerry Baumchen -
Hi John, They go after the low hanging fruit that does not have the financial capability to fight them. Jerry Baumchen

Hi Mark, Re: no calibration standards for the equipment. IMO at that point the test is merely an exercise. The rest of your post supports my above opinion. Jerry Baumchen

Hi folks, He’s kind of boring, this is probably the most exciting thing that’ll happen in his life Uh, I'm thinking some time in prison might just might be a little more 'exciting.' ‘Vanilla Kind of Guy’: Lawyer Roasts Capitol Rioter in Bid to Keep Him From Jail (msn.com) Jerry Baumchen

Hi Westerly, Re: i guess being around people all day who have nasty diseases that can be debilitating Absolutely! I spent my four yrs in the Air Force working in military hospitals. It does give one perspective. Just having good health is as good as it can get IMO. Jerry Baumchen

Hi folks, Another nail in The Forgotten Man coffin: he’s reportedly not being courted by major book publishers to write his post-White House memoirs * Donald Trump May Have a New Reason to Be Angry With Mike Pence (msn.com) Now, when a recently, former POTUS cannot get his memoirs published, he is really in the past tense. Jerry Baumchen * Maybe the National Enquirer will publish them.

Hi jakee, But, you are forgetting that those phony ballots for Joe Biden came from Italy via satellite. We need the 'mainstream news' to look into this. Jerry Baumchen
-
Hi folks, I guess this one belongs here: Republican Rep. Jim Jordan excoriated a top Justice Department official on Tuesday for spurning attempts by then-President Donald Trump’s chief of staff to get officials to investigate several election fraud claims Jordan tears into DOJ officials for hostility to Meadows' election fraud inquiries - POLITICO Typical GOP response: 'Hey, look over here.' The part that I like best: Included in the records are emails showing Meadows urging investigators to look at a YouTube video of a former intelligence officer who alleged that people in Italy were surreptitiously altering votes in United States elections via satellites. 'Pure insanity' is right. Right up there with, 'But, her emails.' Horsepucky at it's finest. Jerry Baumchen

Hi Robert, In Texas, it will probably mean brownouts. Jerry Baumchen

Hi folks, Two more rats have left the ship: Defense attorneys say it also suggests that prosecutors will not readily agree to more lenient resolutions in Capitol riot cases Virginia couple pleads guilty in Capitol riot - POLITICO Jerry Baumchen

Hi folks, A commentary, but a little more fuel to 'The Forgotten Person' thinking: This month I will be 97 years old. I have voted Republican in all presidential elections except for the last two. I could not vote for Donald Trump. Opinion: So what exactly does Donald Trump stand for? (msn.com) Jerry Baumchen

Hi Joe, Re: What, for me, is most telling about this vote Re: he let armed extremists into the building For me, that is not that far from Trump inciting the takeover on 6 Jan. We have some GOP members of the Oregon legislature that are far more right than Mike Nearman is. Yet, they still voted to expel him ( first time in Oregon history ). IMO this action, ever-so-slightly, supports my thread on Trump - The Forgotten Person. Jerry Baumchen -
Hi Wendy, Or this: Two farmers with ties to anti-government activist Ammon Bundy have purchased land by a shut-off irrigation canal in Oregon Farmers buy land, make camp by shut Oregon irrigation canal (yahoo.com) It did not work at the US Capital on 6 Jan; but, who knows, maybe it will work here. Hi Bill, Re: or their flashy attention-grabbing format works Those hot-looking blonds will get your attention everytime. Gretchen Carlson, anyone? Both my children & both of their spouses are, according to Keith's definition, very busy types of people. However, so far, their entire families, including my 16-yr old grandson, are now vax'd. The only one not is my 7-yr old granddaughter. As soon as they have a vax for her, she will be one of the first in line. You either believe in the science or you do not. It is really that simple. Let's face reality, there are still people who believe in a flat earth, they believe that Trump is still POTUS, etc, etc. Jerry Baumchen -
Hi folks, And, once again Trump does not get his way: Trump struggles to find a challenger to Kemp in Georgia (msn.com) Trump's grip is tenuous. His animosity toward Sen. Lisa Murkowksi, for example, has not stopped the National Republican Senatorial Committee from backing the Alaska Republican in her reelection bid next year Jerry Baumchen

Hi Keith, We live in a world where a fart into the wind is now filmed via smart phone. If you want to deny saying something, then just do not say it. What, for me, is most telling about this vote is that every one of his GOP colleagues voted against him. Jerry Baumchen PS) For those who want to read a little more about this: Oregon House expels state Rep. Mike Nearman, plotter of state Capitol incursion - OPB -
Hi Robert, Let's call it like it is: The GOP morality. Jerry Baumchen

Hi Keith, Re: the supposed trickle down And, some people ( including GHW Bush *) called it Voodoo Economics. Jerry Baumchen * That is until he got the V-P nod; then, he embraced it. That is one thing I always held against him. PS) IMO the GOP is not creating legislation to keep the wealthy, wealthy. They are stopping all Demo efforts to change anything. The exception being the so-called 'Trump Tax Bill.'

Hi folks, Looks like the GOP is coming down to 'What side of the line are you on?': Republican leaders say they want to focus on the future, but Trump is far from done with the past (msn.com) Jerry Baumchen
