    Hi Wendy, Re: We can't kick the problems down the road Yet, this is the very thing that our Congress does. Why you ask; because of the costs ( i.e., taxes ) are more than our Congress Critters are willing to be honest with us about. IMO the solution will mean substantial changes in the lifestyle of almost every person living in an advanced country. Substantial changes => costs, for one; supply, for another. Congress Critters IMO want to just give you a sound bite about how much they are doing for you. IMO they know what should be done; but, this is bad news & they want no part of it. If no new laws will work, then what do you suggest? Based upon your writing here, I think you want something done also. I know I do. The major hurdle is the 2nd amendment. Bill Cosby's Sexual Assault Conviction Overturned By Pennsylvania Court : NPR I have to agree with the court. Cosby is an old man who will never work in the entertainment industry again.     Hi folks, Over the years, I have talked about this machine as being a rather good machine for a first, inexpensive machine for a rigger. It is considered a 'heavy duty household' machine. Here is some info on it: The Singer 401A Sewing Machine Value, History and Review (sewingiscool.com) In the early 70's, I built my first container using one.     Hi David, Re: it's a tough major and I honestly don't think I can succeed I am a Mech Engr. I started college when I was 24 yrs old & a veteran. It is a tough major. I also did not know whether I would make it. I only really knew that I could finish when I started my very last semester. I saw too many younger people, who were much smarter than, I fail. Primarily, because they wanted to party, chase girls, anything but keep their nose(s) to the grindstone. Re: But I will definitely try. IMO this is the secret to success. I went on have a quite successful 30-yr career as an engineer. I'm nicely retired now; but I am very grateful that I never gave up.
