A couple of years ago I stepped away from SC for a year because of weirdness like what Bill does. I told Ken, who has the ability to keep me reasonably organized, of my plan and then executed. I am again getting close.

Okay, he was a Command Sergeant Major when he retired and was then reduced in rank to Sergeant Major subsequently due to incomplete course work, correct? Then there is this: "Walz enlisted in the Army National Guard at the young age of 17, and retired 24 years later as Command Sergeant Major. Before retiring, Walz served overseas with his battalion in support of Operation Enduring Freedom." (Not good, your slam. Followed by your acknowledgement that the authorship of the attack is unknown. To quote you: Not good) Now I don't know how much of a stretch it is to conclude that his deployment to Italy was in any detail in support of Enduring Freedom, but we can confidently guess it wasn't to perfect his Margarita Pizza recipe. The real problem is you don't know jack about it any more than I do but you are letting yourself get sucked into another round of slime ball Republican Swift Boating of a guy with 24 years in military service, all honorable.

Crap from Fox News that you acknowledge could be biased bullshit. Why post it?

Please, please, please stop this way of presenting a non point. You are much better than this, Bill.

    Trump

Bollocks. There is no equivalency between not caring which pronoun a person prefers and someone who is bent on being an autocrat and ignoring the constitution.

In the meantime there is no reason not to perpetuate possible falsehoods with posts like this.
  7. That's it? They don't care a whit for their depraved patients?
  8. I was stoked to watch Biles and Richardson do their things, others too but they are my biggies, but it wasn't possible without paying extra for the privilege and jumping through hoops. The idea behind the games is to bring the world together through sport and friendly competition. Paywalls defeat the idea and make a complete joke of it all, that is if the addition of break dancing as a sport hadn't already done that.
  9. Would that include tall people, those with pleasingly symmetrical faces and mellifluous voices? They all seem to get unearned free passes in life.
  10. No kidding, who would rest their safety or security on 35 to 65 year old airframes? Not happening.
  11. Lawyers are trained to do research until they are partners and then they direct new lawyers to do research, that’s the model in any multiple lawyer shop. Eventually they become subject matter experts but not many, in my experience, have been thinkers or risk takers. That’s tv stuff. When you hire one think of them as understudies for the research you’ve already done and the bill will be less and so will your disappointment.
  12. I do not so think, it was sarcasm and you have my admiration for the sacrifice you make. Seriously.
  13. Disagree. Politics does have to be that nasty, now. Did you catch Laura Ingraham's soft ball, pretty please hop in the Fox News life raft interview with Trump? That is what I consider nasty, and that's the problem.
  14. Aw, poor little BIGUN all butt sore over a childless man's ability to toss 250 bucks he didn't spend on PAC man's and kid counseling at an important election and use what a kid might otherwise see as free money to offer a teachable moment. You also might want to stoke your envy by googling what constitutes a yacht. Pretty much it's anything that leaks slowly enough that you can keep it on the surface, unlike your point.
  15. But you do have kids and grand kids and have thrown out your monetary support for their college educations. To be blunt you have a lot of skin in the game, owing to your gene legacy, and you are hoping that we who have less or none will pick up the slack. I did my weekly $250 just now. I also just now fired off an email to a grand niece asking if it was cool if I shorted this years $15K college fund contribution to support Harris. Maybe that will make reality a present thing.
  16. Rob, I am sorry brother but I am embarrassed for you. As someone who has persistently argued for empathy from us and others because of your own personal tragedy and psychological harms I would never have imagined that when it comes to feeling empathy about others you could be so empty and blind. Truly, you need to do some serious soul searching.
  17. Hey, I know! Don't go to Russia or other actor nations desiring a captive audience for prisoner exchanges. That would definitely include anyone wearing a magical and protective press badge or someone who maybe could use a few extra bucks to play exhibition basketball. That way we wouldn't need to give up murderous assholes or convicted spies to get your stupid ass back from crouching over a sewing machine in the gulag to please your stunned and huddling family members who only want to see you at Christmas again and screw the political costs.
  18. Cheapskate. Every week is my plan. It feels way better than the $250 I sent to Jasmine Crockett.
  19. Now that Jerry has singlehandedly removed Biden and is quite respectfully allowing time to pass before supporting Harris after, well never mind, I just can not look forward to his crowing when Harris slams dunks the bastard. I just cannot wait.
  20. Really? With me it's all they had to work with.
  21. Back to regularly scheduled programming, I'm loving that Harris is jerking leashes when they whistle dogs. Maybe some of us, me included, need to recalibrate our gravitas meters.
  22. Comprehension is directly proportional to attention span?
