There are 13 circuit courts. Seems reasonable to me to have 13 Supreme Court Justices to serve those courts. If the pissed off R's want more, fine by me: the solution to pollution is dilution.

You're damn right there will be a backlash. Democrat politicians will be united in deploring the decision. I really won't be surprised if some party leaders get hopping mad. Activists will hand draw cutesy signs and cross their arms and scowl. The Supreme Court will rue this day, for sure.

At the beginning, it was apparent that Covid cases could overwhelm the hospital system which would cause a general reduction in the availability of care for everyone. The real concept of herd Immunity was used as a way to to explain to knuckleheads that it wasn't just their own thumb they were whacking with the hammer. Ultimately, that was proven to be a misguided approach. From the start we should have used the your truck won't make smoke and your sheep will leave you approach. Lesson learned.

In other important news, apparently the Earths rotation which has been steadily slowing has reversed the trend and is now speeding up again. Devastating news for those of us waiting for a safe speed to get off.

The Moderna jab is 4 weeks and Pfizer is 3 weeks. Data from places that spaced them longer, owing to supply issues, suggests strongly that a longer period until the second dose might be better.

Another first class example of writing for effect. I especially enjoyed the bit about being "routinely assigned to mentor stunning females just off student status". Given that stunning student females at the DZ, many of whom are likely "breeders", are so common as to be a banality you must have been a busy beaverer.
