  1. That's some real Trump legal team level scrambling there, buddy. You may have a future.
  2. You don't need to spend thousands to have a doctor reset a broken arm but you'll get on with your future sooner, and be money ahead, if you do.
  3. As I attempted to explain in my bumbling manner in Pedophiles #39, we don't have to be right about global warming for you to be wrong about transitioning away from fossil fuels. If the world survives humanity, 10,000 years from now the history of fossil fuel use and the economic impacts, beneficial or not, won't merit a paragraph in a Texas school book.
  4. Mounting, melting, emptying, and worsening seem descriptive of negative effects that are increasing. A catastrophe is a disaster that has already happened.
  5. Sure, but by the same metrics coal was an improvement over whale oil. The whales might disagree, I suppose.
  6. The word catastrophic is a poor usage in the current context and may be what affects your conclusions about us'n nincompoops. I'm pretty sure no one here believes we'll simply, and suddenly, wake up to a world without snow leopards, Dutch skating ponds, or frozen yoghurt bars. No, we simply see a line on a graph on what appears to be an inexorable, but not inexplicable, upward trend; an upward trend that seems strongly associated with someone drilling a hole in your neck of the woods back in 1859.
  7. So, you think it's a good idea to arm teachers but hope the guns are never needed? I guess that's a nuanced view of sorts. On the topic, you previously claimed you've stated clearly many actions that should be taken to help resolve the gun problem in America and then stated several things. I found the points anything but clear or fleshed out and asked for specific clarity per point (post #1559). Are you able to give that clarity now on any or all of those points?
  8. So you have no idea what you'd have done differently, correct?
  9. With the full benefit of hindsight how would you, as a newly elected US President, have completed US withdrawal from Afghanistan pursuant to the terms of Trumps Doha agreement?
  10. Have a good putt. While your at it consider the relationship between how far you’re going and how fast you traveled.
  11. You need to recalibrate your timeline. Nothing about this is being measured by your remaining time alive.
  12. Centuries can be counted in decades, you know. Your premises are speculations, nothing more. The truth is that taxpayer investments in technologies pays off. I don't know where you got your MBA but we're going there to beat their asses and get your money back.
  13. We spent $2 Trillion in Afghanistan and Iraq and survived, what's a couple hundred billion? Even if you are a true believer you must know that the day's of using fossil fuels for energy needs on planet Earth are numbered. You'll also be acutely aware that waiting until the last barrel is burnt to make a change isn't smart policy. Also, global consensus on when to invest in the energies of the future will never happen. Those truths exist independently of any belief that burning fossil fuels will have measurable negative impacts on the climate. So what to do? Think of it like the guy who loses it all trying to time the market top in any asset class; the smart money will see the bubble and exit early for the next thing. We're talking the world here and 100 years is a blink. Common sense say's that the sooner we get after it the better.
  14. That would be Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene. Hooboy.
  15. I don't doubt it. Nor do I doubt that you troll climate deniers in other places.
  16. A fraud is fraud of course, of course and everyone knows that a fraud of course is still a fraud unless of course It's the famous Mr. Trump!
  17. California Democratic Rep. T.J. Cox has been arrested by the FBI on 28 counts related to financial fraud, Politico reports. Lock him up! Shoot the bastard. Take his wing suit and kick his dog. Go FBI!!!!!
  18. If that's true you need to tighten your laterals so you won't need to do the funky chicken to keep from spinning a perfect student. Or maybe the picture proves nothing.
  19. When you're down to hopefully you're down to the quality of your defense lawyers. Don't anyone for a second believe there isn't wiggle room in this.
  20. In court that would be a nifty piece of evidence showing intent; that's the tricky bit to prove.
  21. Thank you for your service but I doubt it. 4 years of disrupting every norm concerning presidential records, not the least of which was tearing them up and tossing them on the floor or flushing them down the crapper, will give anyone an excellent excuse for doing what to them was normal. Even Trump might be able to claim innocence: What? Seriously? No one ever told me no or to stop it or else! If you need to blame anyone blame my advisors! And it might just work.
