  1. If the M1A2 were deployable to Ukraine they would have long since been in the battle.
  2. Thanks, Canada, for another nothing burger. Border Patrol vehicles are in real demand in Ukraine, same as ice fishing shacks. 200 armored taxi's to fight against Russia, you must be so proud of your Country and your military.
  3. Florida judge whacks Trump lawyers with nearly $1 million in sanctions for 'misuse of the courts. No worries airdvr, Brent, Ron et al. sleep easy knowing you've backed the right horse. gov.uscourts.flsd.610157.302.0.pdf
  4. Post #2959 in this thread. Don't be such a bore. You first.
  5. Excellent job of failing to answer the asked question. Just for shits and giggles, where did you get your MBA and are you willing to share your thesis?
  6. Of course it would. But American Gun Strokers would suggest that, instead of saying no to a single gun of any type, we should first try lowering our AR-15's, Glocks, and licensed machine guns down the neighbors well for safe keeping first. So it goes.
  7. Yep, but he did serve in Congress so on a technicality the Professor wins a cookie?
  8. No kidding. Of course, I'll point a finger at the depraved Republicans in congress, and fairly I think. But given they are Americans, too, the stench is on us all. Just for snorts and giggles, can anyone name any Democrats in the last say 50 years who were as openly fraudulent as Santos, crazy like Boebert, or incredibly ignorant like Greene or Gosar?
  9. I'd agree that history or not the Biden brouhaha will, and I might be wrong, be not more than not much. At this stage, I'm willing to believe everyone went home, and accidentally I swear it, with the wrong persons underwear at some point. That said, I do not think Trump was anything except arrogant and purposeful in his taking of classified material. Just look at other violations of the Presidential Records Act he's flaunted. The equivalency bit with Biden is nothing short of simpleminded horse shit and no one who knows anything about the man should have any other starting point.
  10. Then get after figuring it out instead of regurgitating conspiracy theory crap. Maybe, instead of hunting for proof of Biden's criminal behavior with a blind mans cane and the current right wing self help book you should get after demanding that Trump and his kids be prosecuted immediately, if not sooner, so as to establish legal precedents for prosecuting Biden and his last remaining son. Unless, that is, you think that's all just a witch hunt and UNFAIR!
  11. Yes, I do believe that and I'll eat crow when proven wrong. $600K per year isn't like the pinball money you hide from your wife. Do you believe he was laundering it on the Amtrak train he took to work every day?
  12. Ever new is how I'm most aptly described, struggling to keep from stumbling as ever.
  13. As ever, you are being silly. Here's a true story. Some years back I got a phone tickle from a pilot on the east coast. He seemed decent enough and his resume fit my profile so I offered to fly him out to interview, no promises, and if it wasn't a fit I'd pay for his return. I picked him up at the airport, (I was holding a pair of welcome to Oregon Heart Balloon's just so he got a good first impression) and off to the DZ we went. The next day after looking around and checking out the aircraft we were walking up the runway. I told him, honestly because of how he spoke, I thought he was African American when we talked on the phone. He just stopped, seemed a little put out, and asked if that was a problem. Not for me, says I, this is Oregon, being black pays time and a half. I'm just glad you're not gay, the double time is killing me. You're not gay, right? And away I went with my new pilot in tow.
  14. Do you really believe that Joseph Robinette Biden is taking foreign, treasonous, graft money from his kid? Please, just a yes or no answer. Any other answer will simply define your intentions, as if we all don't already know.
  15. He really needs a job where he gets to talk to other people outside of his bubble. Do they still have paper routes?
  16. If Canadians were prone to violence it would have happened at the opening of the first Tim Hortons. When I worked in Winnipeg some friends wanted to invest in a franchise in the US thinking it would go crazy like in Canada, I just didn't see it. As a society I think you have it up on us when it comes to basic human courtesy, treating others with dignity no matter how different they may be, and understanding that we all live in a shared space like it or not. We should follow the example. I want the Trump years behind us bad enough to pretend there is a good chance they are but, yes you are right, we are far from out of the woods.
  17. Try this as a part of the definition of gun culture: those "scary black" guns and other guns that you hope get an ooh and/or an ahh when you show it off or post pictures on line are emblems of a gun culture. They aren't tools for a job any more than is a shovel with a penis shaped handle, but they serve the same useless purpose.
  18. Yep, a real super genius. I'll bet his lawyers heads exploded.
  19. You have no apologies to make to anyone you haven't short scooped their share of fajitas. Skydekker isn't wrong to observe that we were approaching banana republic status. But that has changed now that we're once again leading the way in so many truly important areas. Skydekker needs to acknowledge that truth and also the truth of his own countries failings. To wit, if we are a Banana Republic how would he describe his own country in the face of today's challenges?
  20. Add this to the list. In fairness, if someone, even a DoorDash Driver, attempted to deliver a meal from Chili's Restaurant to my home I'd be irritated. But in some parts of the United Gun Club of America decorum necessitates that the entire family come out armed and charging firing shots. It's not the laws it's the culture.
  21. Do you mean to imply that certain right wing Trump political supporters and his apologists in the made up news media sphere are thoughtless nincompoops?
  22. Bill, if a smart guy like you cannot get it then I despair of convincing others. I'll try a single last time: it's not the gun laws in America, it's the gun culture in America. A gun culture that allows this sort of thing to be normalized or explained away by apologists:
  23. I don't do Facebook. I work for my specifically tailored to my preconceived view news. I use a Ouija Board.
