  1. That just wouldn't be as epic as Spectre230 and Peppermint. Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™
  2. I haven't listened to FM radio in over 6 months. I loooove my XM radio.
  3. Never fly your canopy somewhere you mind hasn't been to at least 5 minutes before. Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™
  4. That pic is also on the cover of USA Today, today. I had to do a double-take when I walked by the paper vending machine in the cafeteria today and saw it. Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™

    Windows 64 bit?

You heard wrong. Benchmarks between 64bit and 32bit show significant differences with the 64bit being faster. True, you can address a much larger memory space than a 32bit CPU can, but the big advantage of the 64bit is just that...64bit. 64bit in code handling and instruction execution. 6. eesh....that's one of the oldest urban legends going. Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™
  7. I like the side benches, it's easier to get ready when you have a BirdMan suit on.
  8. AAGH! My eyes! JP, the colors on your rig go all the way to 11, dude. Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™
  9. Hmmm...yanno, my Cypres is about to be sent out for its 4-year here in the next few weeks. Does anyone know if I can go ahead and get my rig repacked since it won't have an AAD in it? That way I can just jump it for a few months and then have the AAD put back in and do the SB at the same time. Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™
  10. GRRRRR!!!!! Mine is affected and I live in a state with no master riggers. Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™
  11. Here's my precious purple/silver/white posession. Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™
  12. Neither. I jump an HC-40 in a side-mount on my Mindwarp and don't rotate my head. If anything, I tilt my head down a bit so I don't have to worry about the risers, and have never had a riser strike on my camera. Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™
  13. Suck it, . I predict that my alma mater will triumph over USC. *chanting the boomer sooner fight song* Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™

    Bat in my bedroom

Amen. That's what I was taught way early in the sport. That also applies to insects and avians. Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™
  15. I'm always open to bribes... Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™
  16. "Mgerra28 HEAVY......Atlanta approach. Turn right heading 280...... Descend and maintain 8000. Keep your speed less than 400 knots if able." *snicker* Obviously, not very many people saw me in my Birdman suit at Z-Hills in Nov. I'm pretty sure I blotted out the sun. Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™
  17. I'll be there in the spring. I'll show you how to find all the good midget porn, baby. Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™
  18. Hey now, dammit. Only if you can get me a 3800 square foot house with pool & hot tub to replace the one I have...and for the same price, too. Some things are worth giving up for a great pad. Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™
  19. It could be a dangerous idea. Jessica and I have yet to meet. trouble with a Capital T. Oh. Dear. God. Having met the both of you separately, I fear the repurcussions of having you both in the same room. And yet, I'm also morbidly curious...kinda like when one slows down for a really gruesome wreck on the highway. Yeah, count me in on this one. Where do I purchase a ticket to ride that carnage train? Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™
  20. I recently moved and I have Direcway right now. I got it last month as a temp access until we're able to get DSL here in the summer. Cable doesn't make it out to where I am either. For what it does, it's okay. It's laggy, and affected by the weather, but it's great for normal surfing. My downloads average about 110-130K/sec. However, they have a FAP (Fair Access Policy). If you download more than 169MB in 4 hours, you hit the FAP and empty your access "bucket". Until it refills, you're stuck with dial-up speeds. Let's just say I'm not downloading any MP3's or movies right now. Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to go kick the huge 75-pound dish on the roof because it's not DSL and it looks like a tumor on my house. 21. A canopy in a spin will indeed exert force on the cutaway system, a spinning canopy with line-twists down to the 3-rings will exert an even greater force, which is why hard-housings are important. They lessen the cutaway forces by keeping the cutaway cables from being pinched. The type of link and the type of line on the canopy, whether it's dacron, spectra, HMA, or vectran makes zero difference, so I don't know where you were going with this one. And this is where you and I disagree. Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™
  22. Again, I have to agree with Hook on this one. There should be no "feeling" about where the failure point should be on a reserve. If you have opportunity to strengthen the system then one should do so. Here's a test. Go match a properly installed Maillon Rapide link against a Slink and tell us which one breaks first. Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™
  23. The sport, I'll concede that. But your rigging knowledge, as pertains to manufacturer's directives and how they override what's in your manual from 1978, could use some work. But, hey, if you want to cost some pilot his ticket and probably assess some fines in the process, more power to you. Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™
  24. If her apartment already has wireless, she'd just need the card. I use this wireless adapter on my computer at home and it works like a champ for only $27. Also, it's USB so I can throw it on any PC very easily. Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™
  25. It doesn't matter what *your* manual says. If a manufacturer has issued a directive, the onus is on *you* to be in compliance with that directive. And, just for the record, soft links in general aren't new. They've been around for a long while. Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™
