    Nude flight

You never know. You could end up on that very same 727 some day. However, if we are on it, it is (thankfully) unlikely to have any seats at all.
  3. Not that one. The other one.
  4. [pondering] Hmm.. Maybe he won't find the one where I was making fun of him. [/pondering]
  5. Yeah. That had me thinking our usual 13.5 - 14k must be Super High Altitude Jumps.
  6. Does this sound bad, or is my mind the only one in the gutter today? PS Clicky to your PayPal?
  7. As long as they don't get offended by what I say and do, I won't get offended by what they say and do. Seems fair to me. If they get critical or start prostelytizing (sp), they'll wear out their welcome very fast. Other than that, it's all good.
  8. I caught it flipping channels and logged in. Guess I'm not the only one. I thought the hospital gowns were damned flattering. Anyone else in this forum have computer-generated animations of their intestines on national TV? If not, I think Tom owes some beer.
  9. Where on the border? Which route?
  10. I just bought a case. Nyah! Which one did you buy? Lindemans, Liefmans, or something else?
  11. Next paycheck. Yes. Good stuff, worthy of sitting for a couple years before drinking. Yes. Also, next paycheck. Olney, Maryland. It is run by some real beer fans. When Coors/Bud drinkers come in, they quietly sell the beer. When they see you browsing the good beer, they come over and talk to you. And this store is expanding by 30% next month!

    YIKES!!!

A news story like that shows up and we are really expected to believe that Clay has been in "training" recently and not overseas? Yeah, right!
  13. I preregistered by phone today. I also preordered some jump tix: 20 regular 1 C-130 1 Helicopter 1 Hi-Altitude I'm only going to be at the WFFC from Wednesday night to Sunday afternoon, so that should mostly do me. If I need any more or get inspired by specialty aircraft that actually appear, I'll splurge as needed. The neat aircraft will be fun, but I'm really there to get the load organizing and to meet all of you folks.
  14. The beer store kicked my ass yesterday. Although I have a creamy oatmeal stout and a raspberry ginger wheat fermenting, and another 4 cases of homebrew aging, I decided to buy some beer. So.... 1 case of Lindemans Belgian Lambics (12x 750 ml) 6 pack Harpoon Christmas Ale 6 pack Sierra Nevada Bigfoot Barleywine 2 Sam Adams Triple Bocks 2 other 750ml Belgian beers a few other misc. goodies $206 later.... I'm going to let the Bigfoots and the Triple Bocks (with 2 I bought earlier) age in the basement for a good long time. So they aren't even for immediate gratification. I need to get my ass in gear and brew up some Barlywine and Lambic, before I bankrupt myself. But they will taste so good when I get around to drinking them...
  15. Very neat site. I forwarded it to my wife, so she can show her 3rd graders. Pretty soon, it will come in handy. We will have to start counting posts in scientific notation. This will be my 3.892 x10^4 th post.
  16. Doctor finally release you from the "Sheep-Human Cross Species Disease Control Study"? Welcome back.
  17. And our members need more computers! I'm still scrounging.
  18. Well, I chopped off a day as a small concession to my wife, but I am definitely going. I booked my tickets today. I'll be in late Wednesday night, leaving late Sunday afternoon. Yippee! I'm going to the WFFC.
  19. 1.025? WTF? Might as well just drink water. I'll wait for the real stuff.
  20. I wouldn't mind taking homebrew to the DZ, but I honestly don't know how well accepted it would be. I can hear the whining now... Ewww. This stuff is too dark. Ewww. This stuff is too thick. Ewww. This stuff has flavor. Where is my Lite beer? Retards! A few would appreciate it, but sadly I think most wouldn't know what to do with a good beer.
  21. Yeah, I understand about the ph issue also. Once the aluminum gets pitted, it can be much more difficult (or impossible) to sanitize thoroughly. Where do you get a good 30 qt stainless pot for $40?
  22. Schweeeet! We could plan the Justin-way while driving in the Justin-mobile. Thanks, Justin!
  23. Jim, Everything I've read on the subject says that it is better to steer away from brewing in aluminum. Some people don't care, but many (most?) do, so it makes me wonder if there isn't some shred of reasoning behind it. I'm not of the school that says one batch brewed in aluminum will instantly give you alzheimers, but if the difference for a large (60 qt) steel pot over a large aluminum one is $100, is it worth it just to be sure, especially considering that a good pot will last you forever. Right now I'm brewing in a 7.5 gallon enamelware pot. These things chip really easily, with the smallest bump. I'd really like to switch over to a nice big steel pot. Maybe I'll put that on my birthday present list.
  24. Although I have like 30% more processors than you, you've been holding your ground recently. What would you say your average processor speed is? Mine is fairly low, although I haven't done the math yet.
  25. When I go on vacation, his hits will drop by a million/week or so.
