It all depends on your choice of toys.

It was a C at WFFC. I've seen a lot of trash talk thrown out about the Kevin Holbrook operation. I did it and I found no problem. The truth is that we are talking about skydiving, and high altitude is more risky than average. No operation could keep you from trouble if you insisted on having your head up your ass. Kevin ran things efficiently and safely, from my point of view. I had a thorough understanding of what I was doing, what the contingencies were and what to look out for on the way. Each person tested the exact gear they would be using while on the ground. We also checked it repeatedly on the way up. There was a wide margin of safety on the oxygen. I was sitting next to the console watching the tank gauges. There are plenty of people I wouldn't recommend doing it, but that has nothing to do with whether it is Holbrook or the people at Skydance. It would be because I didn't feel the jumper had a mature and safety-oriented approach to jumping. I wouldn't want to send them into potential problem at either place, because of the jumper's own issues.

Mine still sounds better, but maybe that is the beer talking. Nah. Mine just is better.

I didn't say "Give me your pathetic lack of money". Why the hell do you think I made up that plan in the first place? Because *I* have no money.

Two and a half years later, and Skreamer hasn't changed.

If you are going to go to the trouble of getting a tap at home, you might as well put some beer in it.

Jim, Your plan sucks. Justin's Eternal* Employment Plan Step 1: Give me all your money. Step 2: You become my personal beer & packing bitch. Step 3: I pay you $1 per day, from the money you gave me. Easy! * If I run out of your money or just get sick of having your scraggly ass around, you are so fired. There, that'll teach you not to read the fine print.

It wouldn't surprise me at all.

Question for those who know a lot about motorcycles
jfields replied to Vallerina's topic in The Bonfire
If you're gonna be stupid, you'd better be tough. -
So I can say it correctly without relying on Google Translator, how do you say "Kiss my ass" in french? Not that my request is in any way related to you, or anything. I suppose you can come over for dinner and bring your moose... wife also.

I don't think the storm directly damaged many houses in the area. I haven't seen that kind of storm-related problem very much. What the storm did do was play hell on the trees. The were trees down all over the place, taking lots of powerlines and transformers with them. The county hired tons of tree people to get the trees cleared that were still hanging on lines. The local utility company has been running bucket trucks with line repair people 24x7 since the storm, with hundreds of extra crews and trucks brought in from as far as Detroit. We should have power in the next few days.

Lucy couldn't care less about our power. She is happy playing by flashlight or in the dark. She has grown used to getting her bedtime sippy cup of milk at room temperature instead of really warm. She has a mean diaper rash right now, but it doesn't affect her disposition too much, except at changing time. If your crotch looked like hers, you'd be unhappy sometimes too. If it does, please don't tell me, see a doctor.

Sunshine, you can come over for dinner anytime, with or without beer. Remster isn't welcome even if he brings kegs of delicious exotic beer straight from Belgium. We'd just snag the beer then lock him out.

Does anyone else out there enjoy taking cooking classes? I have taken some, and now I'm an assistant at the school. So I get to learn from the classes without having to pay. http://www.lacademie.com/new_redirect.asp Every class, I leave with an excellent set of recipes of what we made that evening, plus some new techniques. How cool is this? It makes for some yummy meals at my house.

In case anyone was wondering, I still have no electricity at home after the hurricane. I would be upset or something, but I just have too much beer at home to worry about it.

You probably play with your boobies now. What does being Skymama have to do with it?
-
Damnit. And for so long, the rest of us ALL thought we were your best friend. You can only have one, but at least then we all shared the illusion. Now we are all just disheartened and shattered. Thanks.

What have you done to deserve the french fries?

Want some french fries?

I had one of those too, later.

Or perhaps you remember computers before DOS even existed. I used an old machine with the 8" floppy drives and the operating system was CPM.

Being a stuntman requires intelligence, attention to detail, study of industry equipment, logical analysis of the tasks and a team-player attitude. It isn't a "my balls are really big, so roll film while I give this shit a try" kind of thing. Those people do not have long or successful stunt careers.

That sounds about as useful as the driving class I had to take years ago after getting a ticket on Ft. Bragg. There were like a dozen of us sitting there while some total moron spouted off nonsense at us for a day. It was annoying as hell, but it was required. Sample Question: If you drive 300 miles at 75 miles per hour and the speed limit was 50, how much time did you save? Sample Answer From Instructor: None, you evil naughty speeder, because speeding is bad. You are a bad person, which is why you are in this class. Never, ever, ever speed again. Real World Answer: Two hours.

So it is the perfect time to go through their desks looking for change. You will be held down and force-fed french fries at Eloy.
