Damn, Skreamer, no wonder you were busy. How long did the surgery take to install this thing? (See attachment.) If any grownups/moderators tell us off, how would it be different from us telling each other off? Well, other than better language and lack of references to animals or bodily orifices?

Skreamer, Clay is angry that I evidently provided inferior service while you were out of commission having your "Human Habitrail, Complete With Spinning Wheel" installed. How could I not know where this thread was going? In the gutter, as usual. Justin My Homepage

Don't mind Clay. He has been in a bitchy mood ever since his gerbil died. Justin My Homepage

I am severely unmotivated. May I have some assistance, please? Justin My Homepage

The problem with that is that Blockbuster managers are usually like 400 pounds, and hard as hell to drag up and over the counter..... Justin My Homepage

Hmm. Remarkably cultured. I would never have guessed! Justin My Homepage

True, I guess. When your standards are low enough, the world is full of eligible partners.

I knew it! Combat or cowboy with spurs, Clay?
-
No. It's because I'm not desperate!

Did you get the appropriate accessories, Viking? 1) Good, stable tripod. 2) Remote switch long enough to reach the bed. I miss my old F4s. Justin My Homepage

Damn, I was thinking the same thing as Clay? Shit! Just shoot me now..... Justin My Homepage

Good call, Skreamer. Although that wouldn't be all bad. Jabba did have Princess Leia as his personal scantily-clothed beer-bitch-on-a-chain for awhile. Nothing like a real princess fetching and opening your cold ones for you. Justin My Homepage

Lisa, I have to agree with Zennie on the letter. A polite, yet forceful letter explaining what happened will often do the trick. Some companies don't really care who complains in the stores. 99% of them probably blow off steam, then suck up and pay for whatever it is, never to give it another thought. The saying "The squeeky wheel gets the grease" has a lot of merit. Be part of the 1% that speaks up. Write the letter and send it to both Blockbuster Headquarters and the store. Express your frustration in getting the run-around, and in getting charged incorrectly. Detail what happened, and how it was so frustrating that you may never be a Blockbuster customer again. Then mention the complaint letters to the Better Business Bureau, the state's Attorney's office, the local TV station's consumer advocacy reporter, the editorial section of the newspaper, etc. Be nice, but allude to the big stick you are preparing to beat them with. Finally, take a lesson from this and reconsider your using a debit card. The difference between debit cards and credit cards in terms of consumer protection is tremendous. In the last 15 years, I've contested about 6 charges. With a well-written, factual letter to the credit card company, I've won each time. The credit card companies realize that merchants generally won't stop accepting credit cards for the very rare chargeback of a contested charge, but consumer's definitely will switch banks if they get screwed and their bank doesn't stick up for them. Keep us updated, and let us know if we can help. Justin My Homepage

Sweet! I didn't make it onto that list. Justin My Homepage

No. Clay doesn't have that Dark Side intimidation factor going. That would at least be cool. He is more like one of those harmless furry little Ewoks. Unfortunately for Clay, most women aren't into Ewoks. "Hey baby, want to come to the forest moon of Endor?" hasn't worked very well as a pickup line, either!

Damn good question, Remi. So, Freaksis? While you're at it, what is your favorite method of securing someone anyway? Rope, cuffs.... Saran Wrap? Justin My Homepage

I've heard that JFields is an ass. But if you are looking at a server-based SQL solution, you might want to send him a private message anyway.... Justin My Homepage

My wife is pregnant... and I'm already counting down the days until I have my own personal packer that I can drag to the DZ. Justin My Homepage

Wharf Rat Inn rocks! Good place, Speedie! Justin My Homepage

Merrick can look in Texas, as long as Pammi looks here in Maryland. Not trying to be a homewrecker or anything... Justin My Homepage

I think I recall that. Isn't she the one who was busted for violating both the minimum wage law and the child-labor law? I don't know how she possibly avoided jail time. Who would want to work for a psycho like that? Justin My Homepage PS Sorry about the job, Merrick. I'm sure you'll find an even better one.

At least British beer stores would be worth defending.... Justin My Homepage

One that requires you to give up your wine coolers, girly-man! Justin My Homepage
