I asked that....not in colorado. Colorado goes by the number of years you have been insured in the state. Married? Drops huge.... For example....If you move here right at 18 and get your own car and policy and have never been insured before your price goes up 52%. Oh well..... Yeah I know it just seems odd to me ya know? You call about 10 people and get online quotes from 10 more and they all are $1500-$2200 for 6 month policies. Now this company comes out with like $1400 for 1 year? I almost shat myself...calling tomorrow. I check that site and there best was the lowest yet, but still extremely high..... I am going to try and call this place tomorrow..... www.esurance.com They quoted me $748 for a 6 month policy with all my limits being the same. Something doesnt seem right with that. Thats less than half as much as everyone else wants. Thanks for the sites and help everyone. yeah my car is my baby. I dont want to get rid of her, but I just moved to Colorado and the cheapest insurance quote I have recieved it through Geico for $3100 a year. I saw screw that...... Liberty Mutual quoted me $4457.34 .......hahahaha do these people smoke crack? 23/single/male/renting/no tickets in 3 years/ no accidents in 3 years/04 Turbo vehicle..... If they were just offering me cash...no way. It also depends the situation. Could I do other sports? Could I still Bike? Climb? Do I have a family? Wife and kids that could benefit from the added security? Then yeah maybe..... If right now? No thanks.....I love this sport. Both Bob and Jim Rippey are BASE jumpers and skydivers. I am sure there are more in those type of sports that do. yeah that is also what I was thinking about the hard openings and it being all in the eyes of the flier. I have just heard of some that are a real kick in the junk. Those are what I want to avoid. However being new to the sport I also want something that will tell me when its open. I guess the only way to know is to jump it heh? Just recently I was watching a video made by a local jumper and at the end of the video there is a tribute to Holly. I never knew her or even read one of her posts, but I have gone through all the photos in her remember section. There is one thing I noticed about every photo there....she is smiling, and so is everyone else with her. Very rarely in todays world do we meet people, or come across people with such an amazing trait. People who met her are lucky people, people who didnt missed out on meeting someone special. I didnt get that chance to meet her, and I wish I did. Blue Skies, and see ya when we get there. We have the Sti... a very formitable vehicle. 2.5L turbo short block from subaru. 300/300 hp/foot pounds are its number. A very nice car. The EVO is the same but numbers are at 276HP. The EVO is supposidly more "tune-able" but I find that hard to believe...The stock Boost readings on the EVO are 21 pounds where as the Sti is 18. EVO is pushing its max number for its current turbo I hear. ANYWAYS...... Thereal charm is my Forester XT. Cobb tuning in texas.....0-60 in 3.2 seconds. 500+HP to the wheels and a total sleeper. over 1 G on the lateral pad, and 1/4 in 11's.....mmm...with groceries in the back. Go through MotorX and you get the GTR R34 Skyline.. Renaults are sweet, as with Scoda.
