Ok so basically I walked towards them and told the guy to get off my bike. He just looked at me, so I asked which was his car so I could go sit in it. I asked him again to get off the bike or else I would call the cops and have him arrested. He told me chill out and I told him no, him sitting on my bike was a complete lack of respect, and he has no right to be on it. He got all pissy and got off the bike. I then took the bike andparked it on the sidewalk right next to the window at our booth. I was completely pissed.....I wish I smacked him with my helmet. If someone was sitting in his car he would have beat them up or called the cops. Why do people think because a bike doesnt have doors its fair game? The bike was knocked over by a drunk guy one night.......dented tank. If he was cooperative he wouldnt have spent the night in jail...Cops involved, he was arrested for public intoxication. Why must people be morons around bikes? I will give you a different look on making your hobby your career.... I went to school at The United State Golf Academy. I play golf for a living, I teach golf for a living. After spending all my time at or near golf clubs, golf courses, and or students I need a break. I love golf...I still enjoy playing golf, but on my day off I dont want to be near a golf course, or a golf swing. I think its similar to skydive instructors, TMs, and AFF JM's......its a sport they love, but after spending all day, or all week with it they have to have time away. People with "normal" jobs spend all week thinking about the weekend and doing what we do everyday...so they are envious, but its sitting in the office and doing nothing but thinking about jumping, or golfing that keeps the flame lit. Lots of things play into account when insurance quotes come up.....In mass things get cut in half once you hit 25....why? I dont know but they do. Is it worth it? Thats a relative question. To some yes, to some, no. I love it....yet my friends ask me why I spent so much money on something that can kill me? Keep one thing in mind. All though those are all good containers, NOTHING in this sport is 100%. Gear is relative.....$3000+ ....however you can get in for less. You will know the second you leave the plane. I did a tandem, walked away. Started the drive home, turned around half way and went back and jumped again. is it worth it to me? definitly....
