Ok I met this gentlman, well honestly I wouldnt call him that, but this guy started jumping in about 1996 and made a total of 21 jumps his first year. he stopped jumping in late 1997 early 1998 and hasnt jumped since. Is he still considered a "skydiver?" OK call me a loser.....yes that option is there too, but I met him at a party and he was gloating to everyone how he is a skydiver and trying to impress all the girls there. You know girls dig skydivers. Well I figure sweet I want to say hi to this person.....well after talking to him he hasnt jumped in like 6 years and never wants to again. Dont ask me why I am still thinking about this.....but. What do you think? Conun is right. The Duc 996 is a great bike, but way to much to handle for someones first bike. What is your riding experience? I have ridden basically every sport bike from an R6 to a Mille R to a 998. The 998 was a great bike. The sound is awesome and there is nothing like riding a Duc. For pure and enjoyment I love the new 600RR....its a rocket, handles awesome, and is cheap on insurance.

I did not write that he was selfish for taking his life in "our" playground. I wrote he was selfish to acting how he did. Anyone who is willing to take their own lifeis not thinking straight to begin with. They dont think about the adverse affects on the people closest to him. Did he think of his kids? No. Did he think of his friends? No. That is why I strongly agree suicide in itself is a selfish and the easy way out. I myself have been at that point before. The world was horrible, my life was ending, and I wanted to end it. Its an incredibly lonely place to be. I never want to be back there again. Would I kill myself? No Do I feel sorry for this fellow? I have a process everytime I wash my vehicle. It goes in these steps: 1)Jack up the car and hand scrub the wheel wells. 2)Tooth brush and degreaser to clean the exhaust tip, also some steel wool pads. 3)Spray car with water section by section and soap an water that panel only. I go over the whole car like that. 4)Hand dry the car and all the door jams, hood jams, and trunk jams. 5) Go over portions of car with Scratch X remover from Meguirs. 6) Go over some portions with polishing compound. 7)Go over the whole car with a dark polisher. 8) Use wax that actually has car color pigments in it and wax the whole car. 9)Go over the whole car with an air compressor to blow all the dust, polish pad bits off of it. 10) Wax my windows. 11) Vacuum all of the inside and go over it all wish a Q-tip and compressed air can to clean out vents and tight spots around my tuning computers. 12)Rag sprayed with armor all on the tires. I use a amplicator so when you drive the excess doesnt splatter all on the sides of the car. I do this 2 sundays a month. I start at 8am and finish at about 7pm. I wait to wax it till its dusk and the car is cool and shaded. Since skydiving I do this 1 time a month now. Photo below show the results. I moved cross country a few times. Moved from Boston to Georgia to Boston to Denver all in the last 8 months. I started a new job in Denver. I found this absolutly amazing sport. As of a a bit ago I have also met a young lady who intrigues me very much so. I like to see her smile.

Steve I agree with your statement and you are far from an "idiot", you stated what needed to be said. Suicide is wrong in all fashions, but dont blemish the thing that has given you so much. If I knew the person who did this I would attend his funeral to support his family. His wife, children, and other skydivers, especially the camera man. Suicide in general is an extremely selfish act. He didnt once think about his ex-wife or children and what they must have been going through. The new GF and how she must feel at this moment. How about his "best friend" who flew camera for him? This man is now stunned for life. He watch his friend kill himself and he could do nothing. NOT once did the person think of those things, but I guess if one wishes to take their own life they must not be thinking straight to begin with. I am going to try and get somepictures of freefall, or under canopy then I will make that my avatar I think. the thing is everyone has skydiver stuff, on car boards every one has car stuff, and so on....I want to be different....hence the woman on the fire hydrant. I am thinking red long sleeve Tshirt and instead of all black cargo pants, the white,black, and gray camo....I dont want to be to flashy though.
