Ok in the past month I have done a lot of thinking. I have been so busy with work, the weather has gone to crap, and I had to settle a lot of things before I felt I was ready to get back into the plane. I am here to say ...... "I miss it." Damn I miss it a lot! I was just browsing the photos and I realized how much I loved this sport, and how kick ass it really is. I second DPreview.com I am a canon camera user....have been since my second camera. Love their stuff and cant/wont switch anytime fast. Canon 10D with a 100 F2.8 lense. The setting where 1/60th at F4.5. The only photoshopping was a sharp mask, and a small crop to center drop. I went to michaels arts store and bought those colored transparencies they use in theatre. Made an attachment out of a filter and shot away. I dropped the F stop because I figured the film would cause at least a 1 stop difference. A easy way to tell a real rolex from a fake is the movement of the hands...If the second hand ticks second by second its fake....if it moves smooth around the face then its real. I Love my Rolex. Honestly though I like my Movado even more.

I have considered it......I think you hit the nail on the head with the kick ass jump thing. Boogies are all to far away and I cant get the time off from work. A side of me that says sell the gear? I enjoy jumping, but I have lost a lot of my desire to jump. I firmly feel that this is a sport that unless youplan on jumping all the time stay on the ground because your a risk. I make about 5-8 jumps a month, an the last time I was 1 week away from being uncurrent and it didnt bother me....before I was always there, ready to go and jump. It just seems the fun is gone. Ohhh yea....this is my first niece/nephew so I am super pumped! This child is going to be off the wall...lol....I will have to teach it to freeride Mountain bike, snowboard and of course....skydive.
