Did not like "When Trumpets Fade" at all. Bad acting other than the main character, and horrible special effects. If you've ever shot an M-1 Garand you know it doesnt sound like a toy cap gun. Bad artillery simulators and bad flame throwers. Edit:my vote is for Saving Private Ryan, but I also like a lot of the old WW2 flicks.

So I finaly got my rig in the mail today that I've been waiting for way too long for. So I take it over to the Battalion confrence room (its carpeted) to repack it just for the hell of it. A Private on extra duty was out in the hallway mopping. He pokes his head in and we have the following conversation. Him:Whats that? Me: A parachute (I always use easy to understand words with non-skydivers-rather than canopy,Rig) Him: What do you use that for? Me: skydiving Him: How high is that? Me: It depends(I just left it at that) Him: Does it always work. He: It obvioulsy has for me so far. Him:(after a minute or 2 of studying the odd configuration of cloth and string on the floor) Why dont you just use one big string instead of all thoes little strings, wouldnt that be better? Me: stare at him for a second then tell him to get back to work in the hall

But dont get down. I failed the level where you do your first 90 deg turns(I was bending lateraly at the waist. I didnt mind much I just saw it as an opurtinity for another jump.

Where your JM's giving u the hand signal to extend your legs. I they where, did u ingore it. If they didnt but then failed you because your legs where to short then that would be there fault.

When a flag becomes to tatered/damaged to display, yeah you burn it. But first you cut the starfield from the stripes and then burn it. Cant remember is you burn both pieces togeather or throw the stars away.
