    what pisses me off: driving 80 miles one way to school tonight. Finding out the professor didn't bother to show up. the substitute prof. took roll and then sent us home. I drove 160 F-ing miles just to say "HERE!" and turn around and leave! AAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!!

    I think you're exactly right. I dated a guy in college who was from a very wealthy family and had an eight digit trust fund. Not a lick of common sense whatsoever. The boy had never been to a MCDONALDS! Going to McDonalds, handing them cash, getting your own drinks at a fountain... this was an ADVENTURE for him! I got sick of eating at fancy restaurants where the waiters look down their noses at you if you pick up the wrong fork, so he was introduced to the joys of "fast food" and plastic silverware. As amusing as it was, the relationship did not last long. A typical conversation: Me: sigh. I really need a new car (after mine overheated for the second time in a week). Him: so go get one. Me: um... I actually have to work for these things you know. I don't have that much money just lying around. Him: oh. Yeah. I forgot. want me to get it for you? Me: HELL NO. I'll take care of it myself later on, thanks.

    1. no, you're not a bad daddy. I still can't get my parents to call me by my preferred name. 2. Honor her wishes. She may get sick of it and outgrow it, and it may stick. You may have chosen her name, but it now belongs to her to do with as she wishes.

    hmm... I didn't think about this before, but all the way through AFF 3, I got headaches every time I went to the DZ. I started taking excedrin before I left home, and that seemed to solve the problem, and after a while I just kinda stopped taking it, and haven't had an issue since. maybe its just getting used to the rapid changes in air pressure?

    a lot of the time the "stomach flu" is actually food poisoning. I had the regular flu... fever of 103 for three days, and not really feeling like I had energy for almost a month.

    Andy- Do you know anyone at your destination you could FedEx/UPS your rig to? that might solve the airplane issue if ATA really won't let rigs on.

    as you get more used to it, the adrenaline won't be as intense. when I was doing AFF, sleep just did not happen! Now, I go, I do four or five jumps, go home and crash with no problem sleeping. Solution: JUMP MORE!

    nope... the fee isn't a whole lot, but it rises with the amount, so for donations under $100 or so, it isn't a big deal. for something over $100, they'd be better off sending a check or money order to the dropzone, I think.

    so. I'm sitting here at the computer. I want to go to sleep. I tried to go to sleep. But all I could hear was the neighbors having sex. very loud sex. Its an hour later. they're still at it. I can hear them even though I'm clear over on the other side of my apartment. I'm dead tired. but I can't sleep with their bedframe banging against the wall. ok... maybe banging wasn't the right word. then again, maybe it was. well, at least they're having a good time. sigh... this is depressing. soooooo.... what should I do??
