    the odds that: 1. a private school is going to accept a low-performing kid from a public school 2. the voucher is going to come anywhere close to actually covering the cost of tuition at said private school are both slim to none.

    well, I do make a few bucks for the occasional jump ticket by selling pin necklaces and skydiver teddy bears. I have people send me photos of their jumpsuits/rigs, and make jumpsuits/rigs for teddy bears to match as close as I can. It isn't great money, of course, but it does pay for jump tickets every so often.

    probably better than nothing... however, try this first... go to your favorite dentist, and explain your situation, that you are a "cash patient" and ask if you can work out a payment plan of, say $50 a month. A lot of dentists are very willing to work with you.

    when I finished AFF, I bought beer and made my main instructor a teddy bear with a skydiving outfit that matched her jumpsuit and rig.

    ANY woman can spend four hours with a make-up artist and look like a pin-up. I think men overall prefer real women to untouchable fantasies, though.

    yep. I had the phone company block the number. changing your phone number works too...just make sure the company doesn't put the *the number you are calling has changed...the new number is ###-####***BEEP! call the cops. report it EVERY time it happens. then, you have a paper trail for a restraining order if necessary.

    I've gotten similar letters from friends who are serving over in Iraq. If the emails aren't real, there's most probably hundreds more like them that are real.

    I've had both a tony suit and a bev suit, and preferred the bev suit, but it was personal preference as opposed to anything concrete...the bev suit just felt better.

    I got my bev suit for around $350. I had a lot of options on it, tho. Awesome quality suit.

    warm up BEFORE you stretch. five minutes on a bike or elliptical is good. Stretch. find out from your trainer what muscle groups you'll be working and concentrate on those After your workout, stretch again. drink a glass of milk within an hour after your workout. dunno why it helps but it does. then, take a hot bath and an aleve before you go to bed, and again in the morning if you need.

    A good jumpsuit is gonna be pricey. Its an investment that will last for many jumps. if money's an issue now, talk to someone who can sew booties on your existing suit. (Pineapple here in southern cali does a great job). If you're worried about color, call the nanufacturer of your suit and find out how well it will dye. If the colors are wacky, dye it black. it'll be a few different shades, but close... then, take brightly colored ribbons that match your rig and sew them over the grippers to make them visible.

    best cure for sore muscles is more of what made them sore. keep at it. in a few weeks, it'll hurt less, as you get used to it.

    in some cases, three strike is overkill. in others, not so much. I'd like to see three strikes be an "option" rather than a mandatory sentence, kinda like the death penalty. Apply it under certain circumstances.

    do you have a skydiving club? if so, it might be easier to get money and have school sponsored fundraisers.

    I ship insured for ebay stuff, so that adds a buck fifty or so. I think basic shipping is $.60.

    sometimes they have to charge for packing materials and pay personnel to prepare and ship the item. on eBay, I charge $4.00 or so to ship a necklace. Actual cost for postage is about $2.00... thing is, I ship in padded envelopes that cost about $2.00. A lot of times people don't think about the price of packing materials.

    funny... none of my gay friends were abused as children... and yes, we're close enough that they'd have told me. However, I've got five or six straight friends who were abused as kids.
