    I think Bill's dead on. If someone doesn't get hurt, and they're doing stupid shit, they're going to keep doing stupid shit. If they get hurt enough to scare them, they'll stop doing stupid shit and might live longer. A similar example: I taught karate lessons for years. I didn't like smacking my students around. BUT... if they did a technique wrong, and continued to do so after I'd spoken with them and corrected them nicely, I'd show them what happens when they keep making that mistake. they'd get smacked around a bit, and the next time, when they did that technique, they'd do it right, because they had a new understanding about why its important.

    I'm voting for Kerry because I agree with the majority of his stances on civil rights and liberties, I disagree with his stance for more gun controll (less is better, methinks), and I don't like many of the social handout programs promoted by the party, but I feel his civil liberties stance greatly outweighs this, therefore he has my vote.

    the ban is moronic. I can't wait to see it expire! instead of banning guns, I wish more people would educate themselves about them. Then people might stop thinking of them as dangerous magic sticks that go bang and hurt people and must be banned for fear they might jump out of their lockboxes, turn off their own safeties, cock themselves, and start shooting the place up. Everyone I've ever met who wants to ban guns is afraid of them because they don't understand them. Personally, I'm shopping around right now...seriously considering this one.

    my audible is set at breakoff, 500 feet below pull, and at my hard deck. I like to pull at 4. I'm still very much a newbie and there's a lot about my canopy I want to learn, so I try to take a little time on each jump to play with it. I am comfortable pulling at 3.5 as well, but I like having extra canopy time. My hard deck is 2500.

    its southern california. EVERY route is prone to traffic. LOL! but yes, my estimate included a bit of traffic.

    nothing wrong with being vegan, or having your kids be vegan, if you do it right. it takes a lot of research and planning to make sure you get enough vitamins, minerals, and protein. This guy's an idiot. I feel sorry for the kid.

    actually, I've heard that cingular's coverage has gotten worse, from people who have their service. Verizon. hands down.
