    According to the definition given in the SIM, a static line jump is a skydive. The current license requirement is the completion of 25 skydives. I personally don't see any gray area there. I've heard people argue that tandems don't count either, but using the given definition, they do. I was curious enough to ask my RD and was assured that my understanding was correct. Owned by Remi #?

    See a doctor if you are concerned. If it was really painful maybe there's a problem. If it was just uncomfortable, that's probably normal and most people I've heard discuss the problem seem to develop a tolerance. I did anyway.     Nothing against the Alti-3 but it's expensive. I'd buy any visual I could find at a good price (50 bucks or so). You aren't going to make a lot of night jumps. If you need lighting, tape on a glow stick. Mind you, this is all said with budget in mind. I started out with a used Sapphire analog that I bought for 50 and then added a Dytter for another 50. A few years later I replaced the Sapphire with a Neptune. Edit for spelling. Sapphire not Safire. (Had canopies on the brain I guess) Owned by Remi #?

    No, some cops cross the line and arrest people when they should not be arrested, agreed. But.... being arrested for protesting and being arrested for some other conduct while protesting can be wildly different. Standing on public land holding a sign isn't the same as say..... using the sign to push someone. Just an example. What was he arrested for? Owned by Remi #?

    Well... if I didn't have a visual or audible altimeter, and I needed to mind my spending, I think I would buy a visual, analog altimeter (used) and then get a digital logging audible later after saving up a bit of money. So... I would not buy a Viso. I probably also would not buy an Alti-3. But given only the 2 choices... Alti-3 Owned by Remi #?
