  1. What the heck is "a spot" Owned by Remi #?
  2. No, he doesn't know me... but looking back through the thread I see that he did make a friendly post saying the ASC was open and I missed it and didn't respond to him. Maybe he took my silence as an affront.. if so, sorry Dan, no harm meant. I do count myself in the crowd that has been duped by the guys that run ASC, but I don't have anything against anyone who jumps there... if that's what you're suggesting, Dan. Owned by Remi #?
  3. Can you come up with at least one cast member name? Owned by Remi #?
  4. Only if you choose to take a very narrow view of the definition of "thread" Owned by Remi #?
  5. priceless where do i go for my lobotomy? and more importantly, who do i make the check out to? Owned by Remi #?
  6. Since you have no idea what my personal experiences are, your comment is ridiculous. Owned by Remi #?
  7. I thought the same thing...and the longer the fall the more soothing it is. Owned by Remi #?
  8. I see 109318 threads. I guess I have a broader field of vision. Owned by Remi #?
  9. The subtitle is priceless: "Confuse not with Action Man Deserter also an empty Box" Owned by Remi #?

  12. That's one of the things I miss about the Navy. There was something special about walking down the pier on the way to my ship (not awe inspiring at ALL to work on a tender) and passing the cruisers and destroyers and battleships (yup, been a while). Owned by Remi #?
  13. Bonfire or SC? Not sure where to post this but hey.. Go Navy !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Whooooooooop Edit to add condolences to the USMA guys who have to eat crow and drive that trophy back down to Annapolis now. Owned by Remi #?
  14. In my eyes, even funnier to see a "filthy dyke" who also happens to be a gulf war vet clock him silly. I'm in line Owned by Remi #?
  15. I missed that when I read your post. Looking back I see my mistake. I'm very sorry about that. Owned by Remi #?
  16. That's so very true. Owned by Remi #?
  17. Unfortunately, no. Fred isn't going anywhere. He's been pulling this shit forever and the only reason he's in a bigger spotlight now is because he's targeting vets instead of "fags". Most of you didn't give a rats ass about this guy until he crossed into your yards. Deal with him. He's not going anywhere. You bred him. Deal with him. Owned by Remi #?
  18. I didn't check ASC, to be honest...rather not jump than jump there. Thomaston's website and a friend who works there said they were going to be closed. I emailed Monroe twice to ask and didn't get a response. I'm going to go to The Farm. Owned by Remi #?
  19. This isn't really a joke exactly, and it's hard to setup... but it was funny as hell at the time. One of my friends was trying to get his pro rating last summer and as he was getting geared up for his third declared jump we offered to help him if he misjudged the wind. As he was tightening his legstraps he said "Ok, if I'm long blow and if I'm short suck" Pretty funny accuracy motto in that We died laughing. He missed the target and had to start over. 20. I've always thought that true forgiveness was a selfless action and not something you do for yourself. It seems to me that it's one thing to honestly forgive another person for harming you and another thing to be able to put aside your anger. Edited to add my own understanding of "forgive"; To me, "forgiving" means not demanding retribution, it doens't mean not being angry or hurt. Owned by Remi #?
  21. Almost cut the tip of my left index finger off slicing potatos for breakfast. The skin under my fingernail held it on. Had it sown back together and 2 days later cut it all the way off chopping turnips for stew. You can hardly see the scar from where they re-attached it the second time. Owned by Remi #?
  22. Being able to transfer stuff is a nice feature, but I switched from my TW DVR back to my Tivo because of the keyword recording and networking. If you want to save stuff you can also just stick with the cheaper DVR and get a DVD recorder. Just options to consider. If you want to have DVRs in multiple rooms the Series 2 Tivo is the best option because you can also transfer recordings from room to room. Owned by Remi #?
  23. Absolutley. I love to tinker with mine too. I have an older model and had to kluge in the network card with tin snips and soldering iron, so I'm thinking about upgrading soon for the improved networking capablity, but; I also have lifetime service on the old box so I'm not in a huge hurry to buy a new one. 24. According to Tivo's web site you get the rebate no matter what type of service plan you chose. You get an instant rebate for pre-paying 12 months online. If you choose monthly or 3-month pre-paid service you get a mail-in rebate. I don't see anything about requiring lifetime service. Owned by Remi #?
  25. Tivo charges more per month than 6 bucks, so it's cheaper to use the rental DVR unless you really want the additional Tivo features. Owned by Remi #?
