driving is good... we average 40k on our cars just for that reason - we love to drive Jen Arianna Frances

I'm a very impatient person when it comes to driving. I hate RI drivers for that reason... ever driven in Boston or Providence? Does it compare to Atlanta? Jen Arianna Frances

I was hoping you were still 'around' Kel I want a place with some life! Hubby's other 'compromise' of Cincinnati, OH just didn't cut it. The jobs seem pretty good and the rent seems cheap, and 3 DZs sounds good (although not a deciding factor at all) and best of all - predictable (for the most part) weather. I want a place you can do lots in - a place with history and lots of do/see and experience. I love New England for those things but I can only enjoy them for 4 months a year which sux ass... mostly, I want to be warm... I'm so tired of the cold/wind/snow and its only January If we did decide to move it'd be late summer/fall before it actually happened. Jen Arianna Frances

I'm so fed up with the cold, politics, taxes, bad drivers, lack of jobs and cost of living here... Ok, mostly the freakin' cold. I hate it here... I hate the snow and am dying to leave after my graduation in May. We reached a compromise from either AZ or FL to Atlanta, GA area. Lots of jobs and the cost of living (rent) seems good. Tell me the good/bad about Atlanta if you're 'in the know'. Thanks all! Jen Arianna Frances

I love warm weather and sunshine, as opposed to cold and windy. Can't wait to get out of here Jen Arianna Frances

looking forward to my graduation in May so I can look for a job in warmer climates... AZ, FL... hell, I'd even try TX again even though I swore I'd never step foot in that state again when I left in 98... but its warmer there... Jen Arianna Frances

tell me about it Got back from FL on Sunday. 9 degrees in RI tonight - and 12" of snow expected on Sunday.... freakin' great. I'll be back in FL in March - can't come soon enough I hate winter in New England... Jen Arianna Frances

A few minutes before the church services started, the congregation was sitting in their pews and talking. Suddenly, Satan appeared at the front of the church. Everyone started screaming and running for the front entrance, trampling each other in a frantic effort to get away from evil incarnate. Soon the church was empty except for one elderly gentleman who sat calmly in his pew without moving, seemingly oblivious to the fact that God's ultimate enemy was in his presence. So Satan walked up to the man and said,"Do you know who I am?" The man replied, "Yep, sure do." "Aren't you afraid of me?" Satan asked. "Nope, sure ain't." said the man. "Don't you realize I can kill you with one word?" asked Satan. "Don't doubt it for a minute," returned the old man, in an even tone. "Did you know that I can cause you profound, horrifying AGONY for all eternity?" persisted Satan. "Yep," was the calm reply. And you're still not afraid?" asked Satan. "Nope," said the old man. More than a little perturbed, Satan asked, "Why aren't you afraid of me?" The man calmly replied, "Been married to your sister for 48 years." Arianna Frances

OK... blatant advertising We've got some totally awesome stuff on our sweepstakes pages, including these great shirts for both guys and girls. Right now your chances of getting one from buying a $2 ticket are REALLY good - we've had a number of items on the clothing pages that no one has purchased anything for. Come on guys! This stuff is top quality and the vendors were REALLY generous!!

Freakin' love this game! So does everyone at my work - not only do I play at night, but our lunch hour is now spent playing too Addictive!! Watch out! Je Arianna Frances

Yep. I only registered for a few things and when there was nothing left to get on the list people kept bugging my mom for ideas on what to get us. Registering makes gift buying so much easier - you get what you want and people don't have to guess. I sometimes feel impersonal just giving people money because they don't have a registry. Chances are I'd spend more money on them if I bought stuff off a registry anyway. Jen Arianna Frances

Ok, todays update: Winded out No one was jumping today... So a couple of the girls and I went shopping and now we're heading to Pleasure Island for a bit of fun Angela, looks like I'll get to see you on Saturday, as I've got to change my flight to late Sunday now.... not that I'm complaining one bit Jen Arianna Frances

Never had it... but shared a hotel room with a HS friend during a band trip who's little sister had it. I had to get tested (although it was not like yours) and she had to call the hotel and all the places we'd been (the trip was to canada, so you can imagine what a pain in the ass that was). Good luck! That sounds awful Jen Arianna Frances -
Tell me about it! I'm lifting myself up in the harness and they don't budge. They told me "If you're hands aren't bleeding your not doing it right".... um....ok I guess I won't be able to do that then I'm on a sabre 210 and today one of the tandems made it down before me! Angela, I'm hoping to move my flight on Saturday to later in the afternoon - otherwise I won't be there at all on Saturday If my canopy stuff doesn't improve I may be back down here at Spring break for that canopy course! Wouldn't be such a bad thing of course! Jen Arianna Frances

I'm hoping for that tomorrow now that I've got a better idea of landing patterns and stuff. I really want tomorrow to go well.... Jen Arianna Frances
-
Actually - thats how I discovered I wasn't flaring completely. I pulled them down as much as I was physically able but even though I thought I had stopped moving my instructor came back to me over the radio and told me that I was still moving - so I wrapped the toggles around my hands and got some more leverage and was able to flare more completely. Its not ideal, but it will work while I'm on this rental rig. Hey Angela!

I'll be here! Just watching LOST and ALIAS tonight Jen Arianna Frances

hehehe You're funny Needless to say I showed up and told them I was scared sh!tless and didn't want to go up without changes... so it was back on radio and lots of talking about landing patterns etc. 1 5.5 hop n' pop 1 full alti solo Didn't stand up any landings (yet),but got a great flare on the last one when I realized that I couldn't actually pull them down all the way and doubled up on the toggles. I should have stood it up... but felt confident to do it again tomorrow. I'll have to borrow gloves though (should have followed your advice Mary) as my hand is pretty eaten up from the runway. The winds picked up pretty good in the afternoon and lots of people overshot the landing area and I was scared to land out again, or worse yet, crash. My decision was secured when an AFF 1 student landed real far out and got hurt I'll be finishing up tomorrow though
