Very admirable! I wish someone had done that with me after my first tandem. I guess my saying "Wow! That was cool I wanna do it again and again and again!" wasn't enough for anyone there to give me any info on FJC. The hospital I worked at had THE best cafeteria. The food was cheap and some of the best I'd had in AGES! But I'd heard horror stories about the food given to the patients ..baked mac n' cheese with tomato and broccolli...::DROOL:: Jen Arianna Frances

Depends on the individual and the relationship. A friend of mine's father passed away after a long battle with cancer and her mother was dating again within 2 years - but another friend with the same situation's mother has just started dating again 13 years later. If I was in this situation I can honestly say that I would be devastated and crushed (I actually worry about it often for some unknown reason ). I think that after many years I may be able to open up again and see other people - but it would definitely take time Jen Arianna Frances -
Great benefits are gained from tunnel time at your experience level. I did 90 minutes in the Orlando tunnel prior to doing AFF. The result of that time made it so that I was able to finish AFF in 3 jumps. Tunnel time is worth its weight in gold as far as I'm concerned, looking forward to my next camp this weekend Jen Arianna Frances

I love Darude - as a matter of fact, he's my gym partner Makes the time on the elliptical go by so much faster! There's lots of them I like - VNV Nation is also on my gym mix, and Utah Saints too. Its all good stuff

Yep, and frankly I feel you learn alot more from it too. I'm lucky, at my DZ the RW (aka 'old') people have been in the sport 10+ years so I'd rather be learning from them than a FF'er in the sport for 3 years. And since I'm still learning (aren't we all), I'll stick with experience over the 'cool factor'. If I ever get bored with it then it'll be time to try something new... but I swear if I hear someone else ask me if I'm gonna try 'FF this' or 'FF that'... well, I'm gonna cry! Jen Arianna Frances

When I was a waitress we had to pool tips to break even between the wait staff and the bus staff. The cooks received an hourly wage (wait staff and bus staff received < $3/hr. + tips). In the case of take out the only one doing the work is the cook really - and they don't get tipped if its like the place I worked at. Jen Arianna Frances

I like to turn the shower on, fill the tub up a few inches - throw the cat in and close the shower doors. One time she jumped to the top of the shower doors, held on for a few seconds before falling back into the water Haven't laughed that hard in a while. I never understood this. Lying about that is cheating yourself - did you have a good time? Chances are you didn't have the best time possible if you had to fake it - so why tell him you did? That makes him think everything was fantastic and the two of you just have to keep doing what you're doing. A relationship can't grow/change/get-better without honest feedback. Unless of course you want to continue to have lousy sex In my opinion lousy sex is worse than no sex. I would hate to leave a bedroom romp frustrated and unsatisfied, cause at the point I probably would have had more fun by myself The only time I've ever done it was when I knew that the guy was not someone I'd sleep with again and didn't want to hurt his feelings Jen Arianna Frances
