80 ounces of water every day - religiously. But I can't do regular water (makes me gag! ick!), so I buy the 24 pack cases of fruit2o at Sams Club (2 every week) and drink 4 of them a day. It has seriously helped with my workout routine and weight loss efforts - not so much that it has made me lose weight but that it makes me feel full so I don't eat. Jen Arianna Frances

I'm very jealous of people with green eyes. I'm 100% irish and several extended relatives have the red hair/green eye combo. My family must be the black sheep section (literally ), as everyone in my family (both mom and dads side), going back for 3 generations has medium to dark brown hair and blue eyes. I spent two summers chronicle-izing my family heritage and found the majority of my family have been the same. I'll eventually get to Ireland to interview the other half of my mothers family but expect to find much of the same. I even dyed my hair red as a b-day present to myself at 19 and got green contacts Didn't last long though - I eventually got tired of the upkeep involved Jen Arianna Frances

ah yes, you're right, brown is the dominant gene, depending on the chromosome. Jen Arianna Frances
-
Genetically blue is a dominant color - you'll find the majority of people have blue, with green being the most rare. Jen Arianna Frances

Hi Misty, I work with Siamese Rescue and we have several volunteers in the FL area. I adopted my female siamese cat from Jacksonville last September. It would be no cost for you to give the cats to them. PM sent. Jen edit to add: they don't have to be purebred to be accepted into our program Arianna Frances

Jumping Your First Pack Job...
mailin replied to jumpjunkie2004's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
True, most places won't. I did my AFF at Sebastian but had my card competely signed off at Deland (long story) and even they said they shouldn't sign me off but seeing as I needed my A to be able to jump at home, it had to be. I guess my wanting to jump my pack job was the deciding factor Jen Arianna Frances -
Jumping Your First Pack Job...
mailin replied to jumpjunkie2004's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
You don't have to jump your pack job... just pack it I think the requirement should be changed to include jumping it... cause I didn't get to jump mine due to weather and the fact that I had to go home (did AFF in FL) and needed it signed off Now...packing sux. I'm hopeful to get the hang of it soon. The new canopy doesn't help much either! Jen Arianna Frances -

Thats what a good friend of mine was telling me too. But she knew she wanted her son since the day she got married. I love kids - used to babysit lots when I was younger and know I'll be a good mom. I'm pretty sure I want kids, when I'm at a point in my life when I'm ready to make those priority changes. I just hope I have the opportunity to make that decision when we feel it is right. Its funny how you look at past generations - my mother-in-law was 20 when she had my husband. My mother was 24 when he had me. I'm 26 now and don't want to end up 'tied to the baby carriage' for at least 2 years, and my husband says even longer. I guess when I look at a family I see the things that people who have judged my lifestyle do. I see the white picket fence, the mini-van, the dog and stay-at-home mom. I know we can't financially afford to do those things at this point in our lives, and I hope we are able to have the fun we want and still have time to have that 'picture perfect' lifestyle. I dunno, maybe its time for me to wake up and realize it doesn't have to be like that Jen Arianna Frances

Woah... you guys sound just like us! Minus the cheaper to buy vs. rent... We have dirt cheap rent and house payments around here are easily over $1400/month for a starter home. We have a list of places we want to travel to. Just yesterday we were talking about taking a month off next summer and doing a LONG drawn out trip across the country. I couldn't imagine doing that with a house, much less a kid... I've decided all those people that sit in judgement are just green with envy Jen Arianna Frances

Hi Wendy! I'm just trying to finish an assignment for one of my classes... I missed the class that he went over JCL in, as I was having fun in Florida I got most of my questions answered last night by Bill (Thanks again! ). Now I'm just trying to create the JCL to process the following job (not necessarily fishing for answers, as I should be doing this on my own, unless of course, some knowledge able person wants to supply it ) Write a job statment that will: ~ Contain a job name; the account number - 130; the account info - FINANCIAL and programmer's initials - JD ~ Run in job class - A and print out messagess - A ~ Print all JCL and system-generated messages ~ Be assigned lowest priority ~ Be set up so that it will scan the JCL for syntax errors ~ Be coded on two statments Contain the following 3 steps: * Executes Propgram P10000 which should not run longer than 2 minutes CPU time, should be passed the PARM information - 1999 and reads the following files: - TAPEIN - input, fixed length, blocked tape file, record length - 80, block length - 6400, data set name YTD.OLDMSTR, volume serial - 123456 - PRINTOUT - Output report going to SYSOUT - A - DISKOUT - out put, fixed length blocked disk file, record length - 100, block length - 1000, data set name - DAILY.TRANS, allocate primary and secondary space in tracks releasing unused space. And cataloged for future use. * Execute Program P10001 which should not run longer than 1 min. 15 sec CPU time. Program P10001 reads or writes the following files: - DISKIN - input, fixed length blocked disk file created in step 1, file will be scratched after it is used. - TAPEIN1 - Input, fixed blocked, tape file, record length - 80, block length - 6400, data set name - MTD.OLDMSTR. This is a cataloged data set. - TAPEIN2 - Input, fixed blocked, tape file, record length - 100, block length - 1000, data set name - MTD.TRANS. Cataloged data set and file should be retained on the same tape for step 3. * Step 3 executes Program P10003 which should not run longer than 30 second CPU time. Program P10003 reads or writes the following files: - TAPEIN - Input, fixed blocked, tape file. (Step 2 TAPEIN2) - DISKIN - Input, fixed length blocked disk file, record length - 125, block length - 1250, data set name - MTD.REPORT. This file can be read by several programs at the same time. - PRINTOUT1 - Output, reprot file going to SYSOUT -X. - DISKOT1 - Output, fixed block, disk file, record length - 80, block length - 3200, data set name - DAILY.REPORT. Allocate space in block length, allocating primary, continguous space only. This file should be catalogued for ater use. - TAPEOUT - Output, fixed blocked, tape file, record length - 100, block length - 6400, data set name - YTD.ACTIVITY. This is a cataloged data set. *exhales* Ya, so.... thats what I'll spend the rest of the day doing Geez, I've never even seen a mainframe before This should be vewy vewy interesting...
