Lets recap for a sec. We entered and started a war. Iraq had no links to 9-11, we have no WMD, we were never invited or asked to step in and help bring democracy, and according to polls most Iraqis want us out. Thank you for your replay. Most religions Jewish, Christianity, and Islam have so much in common. The main difference between Islam and Christianity in my mind is turning the other cheek. In Christianity it is viewed as the honorable thing to do but in Islam it is viewed as the opposite. Does any one have scripture or any knowledge on where in Christianity and under what circumstance you are told to fight back or go to war? In Islam if it is a matter of defending your self there is no questions you should fight back with all your force. Can you please help me? If I remember correctly Jesus believed in peace. Christians were told to turn the other cheek if they are slapped. Obviously it means to be peaceful and not fight. There is more honor in walking away and letting God handle it. Am I wrong to think that? And if you are christen can you support a war? I understand that we had the crusades but religion often gets used for political gain. I mean the essence of Christianity Real Christianity is anti war right? I hear people say what would Jesus do? I think it has a lot to do with the way you are told to view Science. For me the more I learn about science, and the complexity of our world the more I believe in a God. Wow I remember me saying that a few months ago. It always amazes me how long it takes this administration and it’s supporters to admit simple truths.
