Well lets see. When I or someone else posts how there is plains that take US prisoners to other countries and there is people who try to justify such a thing “them”. According to the US government. There was no WMD. There is no link between Sadam Hussain and OBL. Terrorist activity has increased since our troops invaded. Unfortunately some just care if the victims are Americans if not they really don’t care and would much rather find an excuse to make it seem ok or ignore the facts completely. There seems to be more focus on who some celebrity is fucking then what our government is doing to other humans. Simple. We like the illusion that we are a beacon of freedom, and we are but only to our own citizens. What we do to others simply doesn’t matter to the government. We are only humane to the humans who are a citizen of the USA. Many don’t believe it is wrong(i am not one of the many). It is not hard to see that we have a one sided view on things. We hold different values for human life depending on witch country the human was a citizen of. A leader of a country who orders an operation that leads to the murder of what was it 9-15 children and calls that a success has no place in a civilized world either. Hamas and the suicide bombers is the only force who fight and retaliate Israel’s murders. I know it has become convenient to call any force fighting against the US and Israel terrorist but that is not always the case. It is hard to generalize all suicide bombers in the same category. As I have said before I don’t see the difference between when an Israeli fighter jet bombs and kills children and inocent civilians and when a suicide bomber blows up a bus. They are both using the weapons that are available to them. Islam talks about martyrs if you are a martyr you will go to heaven, and in Heaven you have all the things you would want. They also believe there are men (think chip and dales but tan) for woman in heaven as well. Islam and Mohammed were considered feminist for their time and in Iran woman have most of the rights as men do. Woman can drive, vote, hold office, and more then 50% of university students are Woman. They are freer then all other Islamic states not nearly as free as woman in the United States or Europe. As for the treatment of woman. The woman I have talked to family and friends (we are not a very religious family) most do not envy the woman in America, and if they have to choose between wearing a scarf to cover there hair then being objectified like the woman here most will choose the scarf. I think the biggest problem we have in America is we tend to think every one in the world wants to be like us and have the life we have, the truth is that is not the case. Many of the women believe in Islam and want to follow its teachings. It is a different culture. Here it is considered funny and hot when a girl flashes her boobs for extra altitude in Iran it will not be viewed that way. It is viewed as being objectified and being cheep. I do mean at the core. Islam came after Judaism, and Christianity. Muslims believe in Christ and Moses. In Islam as I believe it is the same in other religions. It might seem that way because of recent events but Islam is the ONLY religion that accepts Jews and Christians and believes all who believe in one god will be forgiven for there sins and find there way to heaven. The people had to choose between Rafsanjonie and him if the people had their way both would be in jail. Most people did not even go to vote as a sign of protest. Iranian democratic elections are not like here. There is a committee that goes trew candidates and chooses witch ones will be allowed to go on the ballot. To say the committee is filled with fanatic people and corruption is an understatement. As for Israel it has nothing to do with religion in my eyes. I hate the Israeli government and see them as murderers. I would feel the same way about the Israelis no matter what their religion. One thing to remember. Dz.com is not just visited by people who English is there first language. I can understand being picky when you are writing an official letter, but on these froms as long as I can understand, and be understood who cares. However just from personal experience. The standard of high school education in the US is very low. Specially in the sciences. That is not the case in the universities. I believe the standard in the US Universities is very high.
