Well you might be right if all we measured was engine performance but Value is a big part of a car purchase. If I was to buy an import and was looking for the same goodies my car has I would have to spend about 15-25K more then I did. So yes Lotus and Ferrari make cars that produce 100HP per liter but I would rather by a house then spend 250+k on a car. And the Japanese car market is having trouble making more then 300HP for their engines. I am aware of the models that are not yet available in the us like the skyline but the starting price for that car is around 50K maybe higher if I remember correctly Bottom line Bang for the buck American cars rule of course if you live in America where you still don’t have to mortgage your house to buy gas like you might have to in most of Europe. I think you should try skydiving first. Base (I have not done a single BASE jump yet) jumping is really for people who know what they are doing. That is if you want to do it more then once. I felt the same way as you do. My Goal was and still is Base jumping and bird man base jumping from cliffs. The more you learn in this sport you realize you need to learn more. Now you don't know me but I am not someone you would consider a conservative but I know there is so much to learn before the risk of base jumping becomes reasonable. Now you can do it all in 6 months if you do 10 jumps a day every day for 6 months 1800 jumps if you have the time and money go for it, But Jumps is not the only way you gain experince time in sport is also very importent.
