Seems like there was a group of Muslims that did that about 5 years ago that started up this whole ball of wax, wouldn't you say? I do not think the chain of event started with 9-11 it goose much further back then that, but lets say your right. So they attacked us. We started two wars destroyed two countries. You know the numbers of dead you know how much this war has cost in humane life and financially. So why is it we are so just to kill that many people the majority had nothing to do with 9-11, but when the Muslims fight back or are hateful we call them crazy? That’s my biggest issue with most people on SC. They seem to get all sad when an American dies and want revenge and make it a glass parking lot and all that, but they fail to see we have killed so much more people then 9-11. I don’t get this selective reaction. It is ok for us to starts wars kill people when we are targeted, but how dare any one act in revenge when we kill there people. My biggest Issue has always been the hypocrisy. I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not." - Kurt Cobain

LOL yea I read that this morning. I think Bush wants to take over the world. I mean we declare war on everyone. Anyone in the Middle East other then Israel that we have not threatened? Wow I wonder why there is so much hate in that region? I just can’t figure it out I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not." - Kurt Cobain

Innocent Man Sent to Syria and Tortured, Probe Finds
Darius11 replied to Darius11's topic in Speakers Corner
Absolutely. I'm waiting to hear that from Darius. I want to see if he can bring himself to criticize a fellow Muslim. Over a matter of torture, it should be a no-brainer, but he's oddly silent. John I think anyone willing to torture another humane being should be punished and jailed no matter what religion. So I think it is discussing that the Syrian government would agree to such a thing. I am surprised that you keep on dodging the truth or try to bring up excuses for the US government. Like saying there just the Taxi when we do this to get information and we send people to countries like that knowing they will be tortured and not only knowing that is the only reason we send some people to other countries to get tortured. One thing I have told you before but you seem to have selective vision and comprehension when it comes to my posts. My personal belief is that the US is the best place on this planet. I also think you are dead wrong for holding the US to the same standard that we hold Syria or a terrorist organization, or any other undemocratic country. We are supposed to be better then them. The fact that other countries torture, or murder civilians doesn’t mean it give us the green light. We say we are the beacon of democracy, We believe Americans are just people, and therefore have a just government. Sending people out to be tortured does not fit with my view of America I am sorry it fits with yours. I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not." - Kurt Cobain -
Scientists Claim White House Created 9/11 Attacks
Darius11 replied to JohnRich's topic in Speakers Corner
Then why did you jump to a conclusion that it was a White House conspiracy (message #17), before bothering to research the facts and find out the truth? If you don't know the facts, then your proper response is to reserve judgement until you do - not to go ahead and jump to anti-American conclusions. That's the same kind of thing which you insist that all us Americans should do regarding your fellow Muslims. "Do unto others as you would have others do unto you." - The Golden Rule Get your head out of "Rolling Stone" and read some real magazines. Oh god John do you ever comprehend what you read. I said I want to know the truth. I didn’t say yes 9-11 was conspiracy and I know the US government is at fault. I also didn’t say no it could not be possible for the government to do such evil things. I simply questioned and state that I would love to see an independent investigation to prove it once and for all. John How much do you love me man no really like this [] much or like this [ ] much? What magazines do you recommend? And so far John the articles I have posted that I got from Rolling STONED are all articles that you have not been able to prove wrong. You usually just attack me or Rolling STONED with out any facts. I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not." - Kurt Cobain -
I am confused. So the Iraqi war is related to oil or not? I would have to say if those were the option and the only option (which I don’t believe that to be the case) I would give up skydiving. 30K + plus our won troops dyeing so I can skydive doesn’t make since to me. I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not." - Kurt Cobain

Innocent Man Sent to Syria and Tortured, Probe Finds

We sent them to other countries to get tortured. So I guess if hire someone to kill you I am not to blame at all only the person pulling the trigger is. Wow that’s a really smart way of looking at things. I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not." - Kurt Cobain -
Scientists Claim White House Created 9/11 Attacks
Darius11 replied to JohnRich's topic in Speakers Corner
Hey that’s a good explanation that I didn’t think about, and it makes since That’s all I am asking for. FYI- I never received a massive E-mail that said hey go to this link so you can see the 9-11 conspiracy is all bull shit. Oh yea let me mention this as well as I know some one well make a comment. The majority of the people on my E-mail list are not just Muslims, or democrats. I just know someone would make a remark like change you E-mail list or something like that. I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not." - Kurt Cobain -
Scientists Claim White House Created 9/11 Attacks

Maybe not people looking for conspiracy, but it is not just paranoid conspiracy buffs that are mentioning this issue. I’ll give you one example, as I do not want to get in to this because I do not have the engineering know how. But on one of the videos it showed charges blowing up just like an organized demolition. I am not saying this is right, But what I am saying is simple show it and say the video is altered and here is the proof. Or say no here is the scientific explanation of it and then shut the conspiracy paranoid people up. I am not for all the ignorant people who are so ready say you are a traitor because you questioned. If it was for people like them we would still think the world was flat. I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not." - Kurt Cobain -

Watch the video Sides: yes I choose to find out the truth or disprove the ones that question what we know right now as the truth. Thats my side. Any problem with that? I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not." - Kurt Cobain -
Scientists Claim White House Created 9/11 Attacks
Darius11 replied to JohnRich's topic in Speakers Corner
What I don’t get is this. Within the first week on 9-11 I heard about how this was all an inside Job. Here my point. Why not open up the investigation if we have nothing to hide? The whole silence on this issue is making it more valid day by day. 2 years ago if I would have said something people would look at me like I am nut now we have more and more people who have evidence that it was an inside job. Personally I believe our government is capable of such an act. They have sold their soul to their god the all mighty dollar. I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not." - Kurt Cobain -
You know what man your 100% right I do just need to chill a bit. I am getting way too sensitive. I think the news always being about how evil Muslims are and not to mention even shows I watch for entertainment seem to portray Muslims as evil Jew hating murderers is getting to me. My apologies. I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not." - Kurt Cobain

Believe it or not Mohammed I can understand he is a historical figure even if you are not a Muslim. But just some random family who is taking a picture?????? FYI I am not offended dude, I just see it as a lack of understanding, and wish more people would learn about a culture that is mentioned daily instead of making fun of it. It is also not just this one thread, it is the current climate. Every where I look people are making fun of things that they don’t understand. The target is usually Muslims. I am way to mellow to get angry I rarely do, but I can understand why some Muslims do. Peace I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not." - Kurt Cobain

The point is it is funny to you because there aren’t what you view as normal. All I know is there is a lot of jokes being made about Muslims, and their culture. The people who are telling these jokes are mostly ones who don’t have a clue about what there making fun off. As I said before just because something is not what you are used too it doesn’t make it funny. I am all for jokes and I tend to make a few my self. This is just a celebration of ignorance maybe I have lost my since of humor today. Either way I do agree with you that this is not SC so I am done. I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not." - Kurt Cobain

If your first reaction is to make fun of something you don’t understand and have the whole herd stand in line and laugh along that is ignorance. Many are very happy to be stuck on stupid all there life. I guess that’s their choice. I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not." - Kurt Cobain

and in this conflict, the Pope would be a vegetarian. He is a vegetarian screaming watch out for sharks they will eat us all. I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not." - Kurt Cobain

How did you reach that conclusion? I know you are always ready for a fight but calm down and stop having knee jerk reactions. According to the UN (which was right about Iraq) Iran does not have weapons and are not even close to having weapons so don’t worry and get out of the bomb shelter. You know I was watching a special on shark attacks. There is a lot of hysteria about sharks attacks in FL a few years ago people were terrified of the “killer sharks”. Unfortunately the truth is we kill about a million times more sharks then they kill people. Yes the sharks are scary and are easy to pick on but the truth is we are the true ruthless killers. In this conflict Muslims are the sharks, and the US and its allies are the ones having shark fin soup. I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not." - Kurt Cobain

Mike there is big point that you’re not considering. How many of Pat Robertson’s followers have had there home destroyed by US military? How many of them know of someone whose life has been dramatically changed for the worst or taken because of the actions of the US government? Keep in mind our president is very openly Christian and God does speak to him according to his own account. It is easy to be peaceful when your going to star bucks every morning and getting your cup of coffee drop a few bombs aim only at the Christian extremists and we will see how peaceful they are. I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not." - Kurt Cobain

Innocent Man Sent to Syria and Tortured, Probe Finds
Darius11 replied to Darius11's topic in Speakers Corner
I really don’t like it when our government decides to take people and send them out to be tortured. When we do things like this how dare we speak of freedom and human rights when we are one of the violators. We really need to take a good look at our selves and our national ethics. We are on a spiral downward. If we really view our selves as the beacon of freedom and criticizes other nations we should first lead by example not by hypocrisy. I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not." - Kurt Cobain -
So, we're right being concerned about them. Off course we should be concerned about any extremists who tries to impose their views on us, but we should not try to tell them or force to be like us either. We are also not so perfect. I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not." - Kurt Cobain

I suggest you answer you cell phone I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not." - Kurt Cobain

I think you should apply the same logic we apply to our local news. The crazy evil shit that happens is what you hear of. If I just view the local RI news as what Rhoad Island is like. Then I would think everyone has guns and are shooting each other all the time basically it’s the wild wild west with drugs. However this is not true. News is no different then any other business they cayter to what makes them money. So the average Muslim who is at work right now like my self we are not news worthy. The crazy fuck screaming death to America will always get a reaction. I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not." - Kurt Cobain

Great point. The problem in many countries in the Middle East is that the extremists have the power and all the guns. They are the government I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not." - Kurt Cobain
