Supply and demand curves set prices and wages in a perfect "Adam Smith" economic world. For various reasons, not everyone can become a CEO. Even in America, not everyone can get the necessary education, has the social standing, has the right cronies, etc. I wouldn't doubt that many CEO's deserve $250,000. It's the ones that get $200,000,000 that I have an issue with. How many lives is that CEO responsible for, as is a pilot? I had to pause my AFF due to a crash landing on AFF 1. (Don't ask; the details were well hashed out in Incidents) Today I had my 11 week post-crash CT scan. (Ironically I do CT scans at this hospital for a living) Anyway, my bones healed about as well as possible. Much better than my neurosurgeon expected. He didn't object to me diving again, which is totally amazing. About as much as can be expected from a wuffo doctor. So I plan on starting AFF again at Eloy next March or April. I've been planning this for weeks. I've already traded E-mails to arrange the details with Eloy. On the down side, I will be going back to work in two weeks. I scanned my logbook, copied it to my second hard drive, and it's about to be uploaded to a Mac server probably in Cupertino CA. Of course, with only five jumps this wasn't a big task.
