Just wondering: Have anyone taken this perception test?
timmyfitz replied to SuFantasma's topic in The Bonfire
I think the point of the test was to watch it once and see how good your perception was. Anyone could watch it twice and pick up all the information you did. Kinda defeats the point of the test by watching it twice. -
http://funny2.com/homer.htm One of my(many) favorites..... "Ah, beer. The cause of and the solution to all of life's problems."

At age 4, success is...not peeing in your pants. At age 12, success is...having friends. At age 16, success is...having a driver's license. At age 20, success is...having sex. At age 35, success is...having money. At age 50, success is...having money. At age 60, success is...having sex. At age 70, success is...having a driver's license. At age 75, success is...having friends. At age 90, success is...not peeing in your pants.

Very helpful tips. These are obviously a joke. http://www.safenow.org/

Not hard to see all that when you pause the video and replay it over and over again. -
Here's a nice video of twoply doing his dance. This how he picked up his woman. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r0ySekS78iE

He will next be reporting to us that water is wet.

That sounds plausible. Aliens, from many light years away, came to visit the earth in a.......................helicopter?
-
Hopefully, he's a member! There are lots of pilots who are not AOPA members, I'm sure, just as there are lots of gun owners who are not NRA members... and they all end up regretting it eventually when they could have used the organizations' help. ALPA= Air line Pilots Association. Different than AOPA.

I don't care who you are.....that was funny. Although he has no voice in politics, considering who he is , some people will take this as a serious political statement. Sad

I found this very funny. J LO is whining because no one is paying attention to her and all the focus is on Phelps. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/26272630/?GT1=BUZZ3

A perfect example of how to overreact?

It is? WHERE? I gotta get some at that price! Add another .57 and you'd be right on. Where are you seeing these fuel prices for Jet A? I have searched the AOPA website for several airports across the country and have yet to see Jet A below $5 a gallon.

Terry, don't you have anything better to do with your life? You have a new baby! Get off the computer and be a dad. Just kidding. I thought you got a life but maybe I was wrong. I'll be back in MI about the 1st of April. Hope I see you and the baby.

The CPC will be over soon here in Socal but I would like to continue doing some competitive swooping, maybe on a monthly basis. I would like to hear from others that organize swoop clubs to find out how it's done. Specifically, how much each competitor pays as registration, how prize money is split and more important, how you compensate the volunteer judges. I appreciate the efforts of the volunteers but it seems that they should get compensated for there time. I am not so concered with prize money as I am with just competing against other swoopers. Send me an e-mail if you have some info on how you organize your swoop club. t_fitzstephens@hotmail.com

How much different type of instructors should earns?
timmyfitz replied to camamel's topic in Instructors
Wasn't this suppose to be a thread about what instructors should earn or what they do earn? Focus people. -
It doesn't have to do with patience, it has to do with returning a call when I have left several messages.

Has anyone spoke with Mel at skyworks rigging recently? I ordered an RDS several weeks ago and was told it would be ready in about 2 weeks(which would have been a week ago) and haven't heard anything. I have called a few times and left messages but no return call. Anyone know what they are up to or another way to get a hold of them?

There is a list currently being generated in the forums on proswoopingtour.tv to gauge interest for the 2007 southwest CPC district. If interested, click the link below, scroll down to "Southwest district" and add your name to the list. http://canopypiloting.tempwebpage.com/cgi-bin/gforum/gforum.cgi? I am not affiliated with the CPC, just wanted to get the word out. Tim

Changing from eliptical to X-brace
timmyfitz replied to pierre3636's topic in Swooping and Canopy Control
Yah Kirk, I know that canopy. You sold it to me and if I remember right, you never told me about the openings when I bought it from you. I had to call you. -
It would be better to call the phone number that is listed on the web site. Brian is usually very busy and spends most of his time in his loft(aka garage). http://www.terminalimagery.com/contact/index.htm I may see him today(or his wife) and I'll pass along your message.

timmyfitz replied to m0ng00se007's topic in Swooping and Canopy Control
As Jonathan had written in the original post, the dates are December 9: Essential Canopy Skills Course and December 10: Advanced Canopy Skills Course. As for the price, you should contact Skydive Elsinore for further information. skydiveelsinore.com. It's cheap and worth ever penny. -
hey Ed, this is Matt (using Tim's acct). What's up?!! I'm not usually there on Fridays but I'll most assuredly be there on Sunday. Hope to see you then!
