    Roe v Wade guarantees access to abortions. That didn't exist prior to 1973. That means states can't refuse abortions. We're not going back to pre-1973 laws.

    Which Bush? J/K. I believe the fundamental difference between Trump and all of the other POTUS is he just blurts out what he's thinking. He isn't concerned about whether you agree with it or whether it helps or hurts his re-election chances. I certainly don't go along in lockstep with Trump but I appreciate his willingness to speak frankly. And to think you guys used to lose it over Bush's misunderestimates.

    Jerry...it's not 1960 any more. While I don't like religious types there is 0 chance Roe v. Wade is overturned. They'll defer to the states and you might have to travel a bit further to get an abortion.

    Most all of the POTUS in my lifetime have been fucktards, with the possible exception of Carter...but I think his case shows that you need to be a fucktard to be an effective POTUS.

    The debates won't change anyone's minds as to whom they will support in November. That being said the next debate should be held in the old $64,000 question studio. Both candidates in soundproof booths and the mod has control of the mics. Maybe even a shock collar on each candidate.

    I think it's the exact opposite. As stated before truck drivers are the single biggest liability on the books at most larger trucking companies. Ever been to a truck stop and taken a look at who's eating there (my apologies to Gowlerk). Most deaths in large truck crashes are passenger vehicle occupants. The main problem is the vulnerability of people traveling in smaller vehicles. Trucks often weigh 20-30 times as much as passenger cars and are taller with greater ground clearance, which can result in smaller vehicles underriding trucks in crashes. Every one of those passenger vehicle occupant fatalities is soon followed by an ambulance chasing attorney.

    I don't disagree Phil, but you can't neuter the entire force and expect them to be able to do their jobs. And yes, the unions need reigned in.

    Laws are all we have to differentiate ourselves from chaos. We need someone to enforce those laws. Give me examples where LEO murdered someone who was just walking down the street. These things always start with the victim breaking the law in some fashion. Look at the Rayshard Brooks video. There was a very clear point where the cop could have gotten control of the situation with a chokehold. But that option has been removed. Not saying Rayshard Brooks should have been shot like that but it might have been avoided altogether if the police had the tools they need to do their jobs. I understand completely the need for change but we've put the police in no-win situations time and again.
