I voted by accident of birth, although I disagree with the accident part. Something that has changed since I was a kid (1960's) was that my parents always were telling me how fortunate I was to be born in the US,(usually whilst trying to get me to eat peas and telling me about the starving children in China) like there's some lotto somewhere in Storktown. Anyone know a place to jump in Jamaica?

Anyone who has spent any amount of time in Jamaica knows 'da bus come mebbe mon'. Moving quickly is not one of their strong points. I've always wondered about the jump ops in places like this. Every time I've been to Jamaica the winds were up enough that I would have questioned whether to jump or not. Enough days in a row that making a go of it might be difficult. On the whole I'd prefer the govt. to dump billions into the economy than a trillion into a war fought under false pretenses, or billions into bailing out rich bankers who brought us the recession in the first place. Unemployment is the key. It's becoming more clear that this mini-recovery was due to the government dumping billions into the economy. In doing so they've actually prolonged the agony. Terrible idea. We found my son with weed in his sophmore year. Told him the rules and also told him we would be testing him before school started. He tested clean.
