Lately they've been filling the cup too high. Makes it difficult to get the coffee out because of the back pressure. Then, when you're driving and you try to take the lid off some coffee ends up on my shirt and I spend the rest of the day looking like a slob. Please don't dent the planet. Destinations by Roxanne

Should the government get your paycheck first?

It's in the way that you phrase the question. Right now, my employer withholds monies from my pay. The employer has a fiduciary responsibility to forward that money on to the government. If it doesn't happen the government goes after the employer. Not certain what the motivation would be to change that system here. Quite certain there are tons of folks working under the table, but this system woudn't prevent that. Contract workers who really aren't? Possibly. Please don't dent the planet. I see, claiming that N Korea, Cuba and China are Socialist is the problem; they are Communist. They may have Socialist elements to them, as do we, but they are definitiely Communist. First post/last post Obama rolled out a trio of new plans ...If he has no one to argue with he may go away. OK, so the turds want to keep representing who they really care about and chop taxes. You always leave out the one factor that is difficult to measure...the H factor. I believe this recession has lasted longer than it should have for a variety of reasons, not the least of which is the comfort level of the average american wage earner. What they've seen in the last 22 months is a rookie President who was given tremendous power...namely congress. In that short period of time he's been able to push through the stimulus package and HC. The average guy is wondering how in the hell he is gonna pay for all of this and he's nervous. The two words 'tax cut' are music to his ears. Everyone knows it won't amount to much in his pocket but it makes him feel better. And when he feels better he'll pony up for some expenses that he'd been delaying. And that's when you start to have a recovery.. Please don't dent the planet. Destinations by Roxanne
