IMO term limits would be a huge mistake. As it is they are beholding to no particular brand of politics being that they have no re-election worries.

I get what you're saying. However, these folks are true believers...imaginary man in the sky...our elections are fixed...and the vaccine is a government plot. He actually went as far as to call it the "Plandemic"...several times. It's kind of like killing terrorists. It's great for recruitment. If you force a needle into these folks arms you'll just reinforce what they already believe. And we don't need any more terrorists. Think Ruby Ridge or Waco.

Spent last weekend with my dear friend of over 50 years. Just he and I at the boat for three days. I had to steer the conversation away from the vax issue lest I slap him into next week. Bottom line is you'll never, ever convince him and his ilk to get the vax and trying to force them will make things worse. I'm reminded of my daughter bringing home a guy I hated. She eventually dumped him but had I tried to stop it she would have held on tighter. Our only choice at this point is self preservation.

I agree with most of what you've posted with the exception of the water issue. Lack of water is a western 3rd of the US problem. Not a fan of having federal water conservation measures that are unnecessary for 2/3's of the country. 20% of the world's freshwater supply is a few miles north of me. Ought to be a way to somehow utilize that to help. Also, I've said in the past that going green without nukes is a tall order.
