Very true Bill, with the exception being that a government doesn't operate in a capitalistic environment. The checks and balances don't exist. There's no one on the 'management' side that pushes back...until now. And when they do finally set some limits oh how the unions howl. +1 We have a system here in Ohio that allows for the 'double-dip'. I'm pretty sure we're not the only state that allows a public employee to retire on Friday, begin collecting a very generous pension, and get re-hired on Monday in the same position they left Friday. I don't blame those who do it...if it was available to me I would too. The system needs to change. It may not have been the safest alternative or the socially acceptable alternative (not that it is today either), but abortions have been a viable alternative for thousands of years.
