    Why do you think the FEDS haven't done better? They've pumped 460 million gallons of water out of the subways alone and the subways are all dry. The feds can't replace all the damaged electrical/mechanical stuff, that's up to the utility companies. FEMA's failure after Katrina was still apparent a year later. My GF was a FEMA doctor in NOLA three months after Katrina and it was still a disaster area. So your GF was part of the problem? No, she was tending to the poor and sick, people that didn't exist in Bush's universe. Which is why she and other VOLUNTEERS were still needed 3 months AFTER the hurricane.     i guess it depends on who is doing the counting. For every story you find that says it's raining, I can find one that says the sun is shining. But what you can't show me is video of conservative media wetting themselves over a candidate, or a news source (CBS) withholding parts of a news story because it would be damaging to a conservative campaign, or a moderator in a debate that was in the tank for Romney the way Candy Crowley was for Obama. Hell, he had to debate 2 people that night and did a pretty good job. So, it's not my imagination. And it's not the reason the GOP didn't win what should have been an easy contest.
